I tried to paint the galaxy on my first painting (I am 10- just realised I’m talking like a professional lol) and I ended up changing my mind and going with the moon at night with clouds around it
Also, tape around the canvas (as a border) so when you’ve finished painting you rip the tape off and it’s a clean border :)))
She should paint all of the walls in her room and make them all connect like one giant scene!

I used to watch his painting show everyday while staying home from school as my escape from my horrific childhood abuse and bullying. Not to discourage you, but don't. I tried it in my closet door before and I was halfway through when my mom announced that we're moving houses. The halfway done painting of mine could've stayed there but the new people that moved in requested to paint all the walls white

I guess you don't really understand untill it happens. From my artist mind, you do the drawing, or painting, and in the process you see all the fault and obvious mistakes to you. Does that make sense?
It's kind of like a gymnast doing a trick, the majority of people would say it was amazing, but maybe she would say that it was terrible because she didn't point her feet or tighten her shoulders. Things a normal person wouldn't notice, and it's the same for art
