Corrections to your Model Y reporting: 1. New interior with quite a few changes - in line with the Model 3 refresh - new seats, new lighting, new rear screen, new steering wheel... 2. Self Driving Hardware is the same as existing/old Model Y - no changes there. It's also been available globally for over a year. Global deployment was pending v13 in the US and regulatory hurdles in each market (especially in EU where they're still working on it) 3. Performance is similar to Model Y with the Boost option (software enabled) - likely due to the fact the new "Launch" model is more expensive so they include the option. It's likely that once they end the 'Launch' model it will go back to similar performance as existing Model Y + Boost option 4. One of the more significant upgrades is to the suspension. The one on the refreshed Model 3 is significantly more refined. Looking forward to seeing how the new suspension in refresh model Y does. Hope this clears things up.

Without 800 volt architecture, the Model Y will see limited sales in China. You can tell the decision was made in the USA. NOBODY in China would make that choice.
I'd bet you're wrong. The current battery tech used in EVs can't support the charge rates that warrant 800V architecture unless the size is much larger. Lithium iron batteries aren't known for their fast charge rates. Current infrastructure doesn't really exist for 800V architecture either. So for now, it seems a more cost effective route to optimize current 400V systems. If a customer drives a 400V or 800V platform they will not be able to tell the difference. Charging possibilities that favor 800V are far from pervasive. Other benefits of 800V are not readily observed or understood. It will take time for the general EV buying public to grasp the technical solutions with EVs.
