Mercedes CEO already met with NIO two years ago and no deal was reached because Mercedes execs thought partnering with a Chinese brand would cheapen their marquee. Mercedes is now kicking themselves because they're so far behind in their EV offerings plus their ICE sales in both China and Germany are taking a beating...🤣
