I don't know if you've realised this yet, although you are cheeky experiencing it, but Home Free and their music actually has real healing effects for a lot of people, mentally, emotionally as well as physically.
There are many, many Fries that can tell you how they experienced complete shifts after finding Home Free.
    ❤🙏🥰

Tim lived in southern California where the climste is warm year round before he joined Home Free full time. He said he didn't miss the seasons at all, but he lives in Nashville because his wife finds California too dry. She is originally from Minnesota.
Tim refused to join Home Free permanently until they became full time and he didn't have to live in Minnesota. He lived in Minnesota for a brief time when he started his musical career with a beginning acapella group called Blue Jupiter. He said he nearly died in the Minnesota winter. He loves Minnesota four months out of the year.. otherwise the state is too cold
You ought to see a non musical Home Free video with Tim called Southerner in the Snow. It's Tim with his tongue in cheek humor visiting Minnesota, one of the coldest states in the US, in the winter. He visits , Darrell Rust, Home Free's producer, and Adam Rupp at their homes. Also, Tim visits other friends. You get a rare glimpse of Adam's daughter. Tim takes on a winter challenge from Adam. It's full of the fun you expect from Home Free.

It’s hard to sit still with this one. Temps vary all across the US. Generally south and far west like S. Calif and Arizona are warm. South like Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida are warm. Then northern states both east central and west are cool, cold and snowy. I’m in Colorado and because of the mountains we have all 4 seasons and it’s cold and snowy here in December. We have snow skiing as well. My brother lives north of LA and it’s generally warm there - 70’s for Christmas. I (personally) like the seasons and it would be weird to me not to have snow at Christmas. Home Free has 3 southerners who like the warm temps and 2 Minnesotans who like winter. There’s a funny video called southerner in the snow and it’s all about Tim visiting his buds in Minnesota during winter. Too funny! Love this song! For more somber music try O Holy Night, Mary Did You Know, Do You Hear What I Hear. For funny, Full of Cheer, Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.

This is off their Warmest Winter album from 3 years ago. Adam is just a beast with his beatboxing. This song is a cover. It doesn't normally snow in Las Angeles but it does get cold for them. Some great Christmas songs from them are Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, Full of Cheer, Snow Globe and a sad but beautiful Warmest Winter (written by Austin). I enjoyed watching your reactions to this song.

As far as the geography, you're essentially correct. In the winter, East and North is cold, West and South warmer. BUT, in California up in the mountains, there is snow and true winter too. All in one state. I love the feeling of this song and Austin kills it once again!

Personally, for me, Home free always tells me, "You got this," and I believe them. They have helped me through a lot of really dark stuff. Point is they are amazing, and this song gets me. I lived in a town south of LA for three years. This made me feel good because it was a wonderful time of my life. PS You'll see at the end about the snow :)

Let's put it this way. I have my AC on here in Texas. We get winter for about 1 cumulative month from October to March. Usually it's worst around January/February. We have cold snaps then in a few days to a week it's in the 70's to 80's again.

The northern states are usually colder than the southern states. Wisconsin: land of 2 seasons . Shovel & swat. Or Wisconsin 10 months of good sledding, 2 months of poor sledding. Exaggerated, yes, but at least in Florida, you don’t need heavy winter jackets & boots. A portable fan for the summer is a good idea. When I lived in the Netherlands, a chilly winter prediction would be ‘there’s a cold front coming from Iceland. In the video, Santa was portrayed by someone who had acted in a children’s show - Nickelodeon. Haven’t a clue who it is.

bop from our guys! Wasn't that great? Not an original. A cover.
They have more very funny and some quite traditional and GORGEOUS. Ones such as.... O Holy Night.
But one you have to listen to that was arranged by Adam Rupp...beatboxer...is ...Do You Hear What I Hear. You'll be impressed!

It’s about 3,000 miles about 4828 km between NYC & LA east to west. It’s about 2,000 miles about 3,218 km between the Canadian border and the Mexican border north to south. These figures are a very rough & I am not stating them as fact because our borders vary a great deal. I don’t know any figures on the size of England, but I hope this helps you understand the size difference. Now our southwestern coastline has a mountain range close to the Pacific Ocean. I’m using “close” to signify the difference between the size of the country versus the size of the land between the ocean & the mountains. There are miles between, but I don’t know how many to use for a reasonable average. The winds off the Pacific Ocean blow toward the mountains keeping Southern California warm most, if not, all year. I hope my rambling helps you. We have a big country & if you don’t like the weather where you are, you can drive or fly to where you like it better, without leaving the country.

Oh what a nice and cheerful Christmas song! This puts me in the Christmas mood. What I especially love is that each member gets their turn with the perfect part for each. That sounds amazing! Yes, here in the Netherlands the weather is very different than in LA. But it doesn't matter what the weather is like, what matters is how the Christmas spirit is in you. And if you don't feel that (yet), listen to this song.

  • @JanSkaggs

California has places with warm winters but they also have mountains to go where it’s snowy and cold. California tends to get cooler in the evenings, if I remember correctly from the short time I lived there. Florida has warm winters. When I lived there I loved Christmas shopping in warm weather. I miss Florida winters.
You can go to the southern parts of the US and get warm winters. As you travel north the weather gradually gets cooler and then cold. Not so much snow until you get three or more likely four states north. Of course the weather is changing but I don’t think it’s a natural change and I don’t believe it’s “warming” up. I know the snow we got in TX and OK two or three years ago was the strangest snow or rather “not” snow. Fire didn’t melt it and it would have black around the edges of where you placed a flame. I did this experiment myself!
Anyway, that’s a bit of info on the weather. Florida has sandmen rather than snowmen. Palm trees get decorated instead of evergreen trees. No heavy coats to lug around in stores. (Can you tell I prefer warm weather?) lol
This was a great reaction. You were spot on! It is a fun song.
Have a great Christmas season and stay warm and healthy! Keep the music coming! 🥰🏝🎶

Love this cover! It’s fresh, cool, and modern. The original was a group called Vulfpeck. I never heard of the group or the song prior to Home Free’s recording. In the United States, Typically the southern states don’t get as cold as the Midwest or northern states. California and Florida stay warmer than the other southern states. I am a Louisiana resident (part of the southern Gulf states. Many of us don’t take the cold very well. If you want more serious Home Free Christmas songs, they’re out there! “Mary, Did You Know”, “O, Holy Night”, “Angels We Have Heard on High” are just a few. Oh, definitely check out “Do You Hear What I Hear”. It is an Adam Rupp arrangement! Superb!

The guys could only do a little for this video; they perform on tour right up to Christmas Eve. I didn't catch on at first that this guy was Santa in L.A., but someone hacked his phone if there are only 34 nice people out of 3 million! It's true it's going to be warm this month, unfortunately. Peppermint ice cream is on my list.

North is cold or rainy (like here in Washington State - on left side but most north of the contiguous US states); across the entirety of the US the southern states (like California where L.A. is) are the ones most likely to be sweltering 😅
Can't sit still when this song comes on!!
