Pile 1- seemed very accurate for me. It’s just so hard to wait sometimes. There are times where I think “I’m willing to wait forever” and other times I think “dude you are taking way too long! If you wanted me, you’d make it happen”. Lately I’ve been positive about the situation and not worried at all but today I woke up worried about it and of course I had to talk about it with my person and I’m sure that just made things worse and awkward. But this is what I’m dealing with... she tells me she doesn’t want to be with anyone right now, that she just wants to be friends and figure out her life first, etc. so I don’t flirt with her at all but then out of the blue she flirts with me and I mean very obviously flirting, not something you would ever say to someone you had no attraction to. But then it’s like as soon as I try to flirt or ask about her intentions/wants then “we’re just friends” I have even said to her “if you have no interest in me/no intention of ever being with me please just say so. I’m not going to be mad, I just want to know” and she just acts like she doesn’t know what she wants. As I’m writing this honestly I feel like a big idiot. I feel like I should give up, but if you could see the situation and our interactions I know that I wouldn’t seem crazy or as if I’m liking someone with no interest in me. I know the physical attraction is there, I know we have a good time together and laugh together. So why does it have to be so hard?

Pile 2: I believe it’s definitely a past relationship, however I still have tons of questions but overall I would say how long would it take. We’ve been apart for a long while. It almost makes me feel weird that he still has feelings for me. 2. I'm 37, he's 47! His family is dependent on his income, because his siblings don't want to share the expenses. And his family is totally against this relationship. I'm a single parent. They are stopping this from happening as they think I will take over the money control, as has happened with his brother earlier.

Alright, so: I'm one of those rare straight dudes who is giving tarot a chance. The gal I was asking about when choosing pile 2 was like a catalyst who opened me up to a new dimension of life and spirituality, including tarot; she inspired me like no one I've met before, and we both mutually were inundated with synchronicities, to the point that for a while they became so mundane to us that sharing the synchronicities we'd have throughout the week was as common as asking 'so how was your day?' My life up to that point, charmed as it is, felt like gently floating down a river of saudades -- a Portuguese word that roughly means 'the dream that can never come true; the past that can never be relived' -- so this particular connection felt transcendent, more literally magical than the stereotype of 'falling in love sure feels like magic, doesn't it!'
She left, though. Egoistically, I'm struggling not to feel jaded and calloused by it, whether I ever get back in touch with her personally or move on to other connections in this lifetime.
And so my question is: Will I find a healthy partnership which helps me feel that kind of transcendence again?
