Pile 2: He was immature, not me. You are right when you say that everything was a bluff. Yes, he was deceitful. He turned his back on me, without an explanation, it happened out of the blue.

I was drawn to two and four, but mostly four. Pile two he did give an explanation. He does see me as complete, mature, peace, and home, but he doesn't feel he deserves that, or he didn't then. So, he went back to a toxic situation. They've broken up about three times since January. I sparked his spiritual awakening and learned he is in a personal year 7, so the relationship, our conversations, all of it makes so much more sense. I can't wait until the universe says it is time, but in the meantime I have to live unattached to the outcome. It's almost exactly our story. He said he would climb any mountain to get on my level. Oh yes.
She opted to go back to the codependent covert-narcissist whom she'd said for months that she was going to break up with (but didn't) and said she didn't care about (then flew to his country and lived with him for a solid month). Upon returning, rather than have a Big Girl conversation with me about it, we made some friendly small-talk and then she ghosted me. She did so because, as she told me after I figured out how to get back in touch with her anyway, that she had found 'an article on the internet' which said it's okay to ghost anyone who makes you uncomfortable for any reason. I hadn't been aggressive or needy toward her about it or anything; as far as I can tell, she was 'uncomfortable' because of her assumptions of how I'd react, and probably because guilt and shame count as 'uncomfortable'. She's got overwhelming amounts of anxiety and PTSD, so even if I was being rock-solid patient about it (which I believe I was!), she was projecting assumptions onto me that I never acted out. Only in retrospect, after stewing in her shadow work for months, would she realize that I didn't behave like any of the emotionally abusive a-holes she'd been drawn to in the past (empaths and their stereotype for SUPPOSEDLY being really great at spotting liars, but IN REALITY repeatedly getting tangled up with narcissists).
I've lost count of how many Pick A Card readings I've seen at this point which are saying that she is sorry and seeing me as perfect and wanting to get back to me. I'm not sure how safe and sane it is to welcome someone like that back into my life. On a spiritual level, I've forgiven her. On an egoistic level, she abandoned me, betrayed me, misunderstood me, and othered me.
She never broke my heart, though. Didn't even crack it. I knew, as the saying goes: "Hurt people hurt people." And like I said: She's got overwhelming amounts of anxiety and PTSD. I knew better than to entrust my heart fully to someone who was so clearly making unhealthy decisions and could not provide any mature reasons for them.
If she comes back around, I actually wouldn't mind being Just Friends. I never wanted to say goodbye, and was always on her team. But if she really wants a relationship? Then, as much as I hate conditional affection, I'd have her in therapy and on some Lifted Naturals probiotics.
If it doesn't happen? Then fine. See you in the next life.
