- The first 112% All Pantheons Bosses run to be completed under 3 hours.
Extremely proud of how far we've come in this category. This took multiple months of consecutive strat labbing, reviewing runs, practicing segments and of course actually attempting to put all of that into 1 run. This run.
Unfortunately no talking in this run, cause apparently I can play well only when I'm muted. I might do a commentary on this run some time.
The occasional flukemungas on screen are twitch points rewards redeemed by viewers

Q: Do you play on a controller or a keyboard?
A: Keyboard
Q: Why do you open your inventory while falling?
A: Increases falling speed + Removes hardfalls.
Q: Weren't inventory drops removed??
A: Not entirely, they're just way more precise. You can only do them as you fall off a ledge. That's why you'll see me use other ways to drop faster, like cyclone drops and dives.
Q: Why is the game in Chinese?
A: Faster text scroll + Less letters in general, saves a good amount of time.
Q: Why are there 2 timers?
A: The upper one is for time without game loading times (loadless), lower one is real time (RTA).
Q: Isn't the Pantheon of Hallownest optional?
A: The category is 112% All Pantheon Bosses, so all the pantheons are required.

doing 'impossible' challenges is so fun, rn i'm trying to get my pantheons done since i finished the game not so long ago ( i could finish it much sooner, but i was so lazy 💀 ) , im on the pantheon of the artist ( i think that's what its called )
As someone who has played Hollow knight for a couple of years, its amazing to see your near flawless movement and consistency. Especially minor timesaves such as getting hit out of a pickup animation by an enemy that was lured into that exact position are an absolute joy to see. Its truely fascinating to see how far this games speedrun community has come. Huge congratulations on your sub 3 hour run and world record. You really deserve it. I can´t wait to see what Silksong will have in store for the Hollow knight community.

Ok, I know Hollow Knight speedruns have impressive movement, but this run in particular has some insane movement. You can just see how carefully and rigorously every room’s movement was mapped and rehearsed. Truly amazing, gg Monstah!

I remember Monsta saying in a live stream he had around 20 thousand hours of gameplay a couple of years ago, so it would be safe to asume he now has close to 30k.

Hollow Knight was the first game of its kind / challenge level I fought my way through (since being a good deal younger anyway) and was able to enjoy 'blind', unspoiled. Still not quite at 112% I think, but close. Having fought to achieve that much over many hours and through a metric ton of frustration, watching this I cannot imagine the amount of effort between the routing and execution. Incredibly well-done.

Update 7 months later: I've now made it to P5, gotten as far as NKG and am angry at how easy Monstah and others make it look 😂.
I wanted to watch this up until my first playthrough.... I'm 10 hours in. And you caught up to me in 20 ish minutes.

Absolutely godlike run! It's hard to even believe someone can be this amazing at a game like this. Every screen down to a science, every fight as close to perfect as can be as long as rng lines up, it's seriously mind blowing. Gg's! Legendary run!
Its a good thing there isn't a whole lot of time for him to read chat, I can't even imagine how annoying some of that would be. People spamming "noooooo!" And "why????" every time even the slightest bit of bad rng happens. There were even a few people who would spam that stuff even when he got a gold split because they don't understand how it works lol!
Must feel great to have this accomplishment under the belt and behind you. I wonder how long this legendary run will stand? My guess is quite a long time... we shall see.

It's pretty challenging to start with 112% compared to other categories, but it's doable, I know of a few runners that started with 112%
Personally? Start with meme runs! They’re often short and only slightly optimised, so you can learn the routes and actively participate in making the run better in an already existing game community.
Once you’re ready you can try to use what you’ve learned to study a real route like 112 or anything else you wanna try!
