It’s kinda refreshing to see a guitar teacher on stage enjoying himself vs dealing with the “nuts & bolts” of guitar playing. My guitar journey has been a little over a year now… A few weeks back, my instructor pulled me off to the side and told me I was spending too much time on theory and not enough actually playing. As a neophyte, I was completely unaware and immersed in the classroom stuff. It was sorta like watching too much TV as a kid, and being told to go outside and get some fresh air. Our lessons began to revolve around music, and in time I found others to play with and enjoy the fruits of hard work. Seeing Steve do his thing in front of a crowd absolutely rocks…
Just an old dude that found your video lessons. Learned more in one clip tjan I leared on my self in tje last 50+ years. Thanks Steve, We all appreciate your work.
Wow man, I knew you had to do more than just your guitar videos, glad I was right because you're freaking awesome! You're tutorials have all helped me tremendously, don't ever stop!!! Thanks for everything Steve! =D
That was a great medley mix, but i see you have the same problem i have with that guitar. The darn volume is to close to where we strum and keep hitting the volume down. I have tried to adjust my playing but i think i'm just gonna sell mine and get something else where the controls are out of the way. Thanks for sharing, it was awsome to see you play with a band instead of teaching!!!!
I thot I saw Danny Carey playing lead guitars without a basket ball jersey .. Awesome! whenever I practice your downstrokes exercises, I always imagine my self playing Blackened. have done it in my high school years. hard to do 25 years later. but thanks to you, your lessons are quite motivating! :)
Wow! Your a league of your own! .. You've inspired me 2 buy one of them guitars, ibenez? Do u know the proper name 4 it? I really like it ,,, also do u have A recommendation on what guitar 2 buy to play guns n roses songs, of slashes guitars, he's promoted so many in his name? I think And I'm not sure which 1 , 2 get, (thAnks so much from Annemarie-female guitarist-learning beginners intermediate ;-) )
I don't like this genre but Steve Stine is a nice guy and a great guitarist so I looked up his lessons and bought his theory for life lesson...Steve is clearly the star of this show.
Am I the only one that heard the vocalist flipped the chorus on creeping death 🤨 he started it " so let it be written, so let it done to kill the first born pharaoh son. So let it be written, so let it be done I'm sent here by the chosen one I'm creeping death!" I was like bruh 🤣 I know this video was showing the talent of Steve and dude he absolutely killed that solo!🤘 but dang giant dude sing it right. I actually hope it was intentional that he did that lol
Is it possible for anybody to develop that kinda finger speed when doing leads? I have often thought no, as if everybody could , we would all be lead guitar players. Must be a reason why some are rhythm and some are lead? Or am i out to lunch?
MrFoxer35 use a metronome. if you want to play fast you have to play slow and slowly increase speed over time. most people wont play fast as they give up as its a long and frustrating process
Does it ever kinda bother someone when the bassist stands near the light beside he guitarist to get noticed? Lol not being rude or anything it just bothers me sometimes. But I've been in a band and loved the bassist and everyone in it just bass isn't as impressive sometimes although very important

u r so awesome living the life your way rocking in a band and sharing your guitar knowledge with us.
dude the creeping death solo was better than how kirk plays it nowadays, top notch job!
I love Kirk but his playing has always been kinda sloppy. I'm starting to think he does it on purpose b/c he's still doing it!
kirk is like one of the cleanest guitarists ever
@@henryhenry1688 Studio only, live he rarely plays clean and bends out of tune.
steve is no joke man lol
Wow man, I knew you had to do more than just your guitar videos, glad I was right because you're freaking awesome! You're tutorials have all helped me tremendously, don't ever stop!!! Thanks for everything Steve! =D

But it is what it is
Huh? That makes zero sense.
Testosteron tunes.
Does it ever kinda bother someone when the bassist stands near the light beside he guitarist to get noticed? Lol not being rude or anything it just bothers me sometimes. But I've been in a band and loved the bassist and everyone in it just bass isn't as impressive sometimes although very important
