Oh, Fray Bentos, I've tried a few of their products and they are notoriously bad from my experiences!!! Great video mate, if you are out and about, Morrisons specifically, they do a really nice Old El Passo Chilli Con carne Burrito bowl (oven job) I had it on Monday night and I really enjoyed it!!!

We make "our" chicken chow mein from scratch and we use and we use a chicken fried rice micro wave rice to bulk it up along with fresh noodles etc. That's about all they are good for really.
That's exactly what's happening when you cook food in a plastic tray or even a pot noodle that's why I always remove it from the tray into a ceramic bowl or saucepan before I bake or cook it otherwise the heat will leach plastics into your food we already consume a credit card sized amount of plastic every week.
i agree with the plastic packaging flavour. especially if its got flavours and sauces on it then it seems to be worse than if its just plain rice so i imagine a sauce meal like this its going to be even worse.
Chilli Con "carnay"-it's Spanish and translates as Chilli with Meat, although Carne is the word used in much of Latin America to specifically mean beef. Fray Bentos is the beef processing town in Uruguay which for over a century has sent meat products to the UK, traditionally corned beef.
