KingMeteor's would be Act 1, where you traverse a bay marina filled with abandoned floating clipper ships and finally on Robotnik's own destroyer. Yours would be Act 2, where you would have to traverse the bottom of the bay, all of its covered pearl white sand in gold and treasure. And Emeralds. Lots of Emeralds. Robotnik's mech would be a submarine AND speedboat.
If I had heard this theme without knowing who's the master of its stage, I would've never had guessed someone named "Pirate Man" uses such a theme. Anyway, such a pretty theme for an aquatic stage.
Nice MJ esque drum thingie :) great sounds overall, would have loved to hear the background parts do more of the prasing/secondary voices from the original in the second part of the song, but that may have only been in the snes version, i havent listened so closely to the genesis version.
Don't forget Splash Woman, she's a siren who rescues ship wrecked sailors. And of course there's the OG water Robot Master himself, Bubble Man, who's a scuba diver (Dive Man's a submarine).
After whatever project you'd be working on, would you even end up working on Mega Man: Powered Up in a Sega Genesis remix, so we can hear the Residential Metropolis, Oil Man, and Time Man's Levels, not to mention the Level Creator Theme?
