    You do really good work. Those look a lot like dental handsets and I can believe they're expensive but so much better than air tools that blow the swarf all over the place. So how did you come by that fancy rule...engineers or architects??? Not many people have those and just wondering how you came by yours. Having three edges w/ the hollow area between the edges seems like it would be a help ensuring the lines stay vertical and parallel in the bore...just keep two edges flat on the cylinder wall by pushing on the 3ed edge...self-aligning.

    Thanks for The video, The thing is that the actual measurements for port heights and such are very important.. One doesn’t know if you’re actually gaining any power unless you degree the motor imo. That’s why I asked you about the templates.. Its great advertisement tho ✌🏽

    Can you elborate on the marks for the boring process. I understand the TDC mark in which the TDC should be consistent. How did you go about marking the vertical lines for rest of boring.

      You ABSOLUTELY can do this at home, i did it to a buddies blaster when doing top end for him and WOW! Was it ever worth it, and i didnt go nearly as far as he is here. that's the great thing about home porting, you only have to get as aggressive as u feel comfortable doing. Just cleaning up and chamfering ports, polishing exh, removing casting flaws, but no raising of port heights makes an unbelievable difference. We were totally jaw dropped at the power increase after we broke it in and honked on it across the field for the first time. Dive right in and do it! You wont screw it up!

    Ever make a template for porting that you can slide into the cylinder to help the novice get better results??

    • @herrjugsracing7816
      @herrjugsracing7816  Рік тому

      I have not. I do show you how to use a degree wheel so you can do it yourself. I know a template would be easier.
