    Welcome to this Wonderwall Guitar Tutorial by Oasis!
    This is one of the most iconic songs to play on an acoustic guitar, so it's must for every guitarist! To play this song, you only need to know a few chord shapes which are very simple. The trickiest part comes with the strumming patterns with are long and sometimes confusing for beginners. The main thing is to take is slowly before trying to play this at full speed. I have no doubt you'll all be able to learn this song perfectly after watching this video.

      @Carl Panzram its different for someone who started with a nylon guitar 😌, I could play for hours with nylon strings. And after 8 months I upgraded to a steel, already build the exact right amount of callus, to be able to play for hours on steel as well. That’s how a manage to play without hurting fingers. Well ofcourse I felt soreness, but not like pain pain. Lately my sister tried to learn guitar with me and started crying after we tried to learn the EM chord for 3 minutes only, because she was using my steel guitar, so her fingers were hurting. Nylon is key for learning a lot in ur first months.

      @@Allen-ue4qz dude you're just putting new players down by saying that you can learn this song in an hour. The chords are fairly easy yes, but first this song will destroy every new players pinky and ring finger tips, and second the strumming pattern just takes time and practice to memorize.

    And all the lights that lead us there are blinding

    Because maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me
    And after all, you're my wonderwall

    When saw the video and chorda i was like now this one's easy and when i saw the strumming pattern then i used my guitar for bonefire...

      😂 just take it slowly

    • @spacetime_wanderer
      @spacetime_wanderer 3 роки тому +1

      That strumming looks difficult, but to wrap my head around the intro strumming - I am constantly doing up and down motion on the beats. Just choosing to ring or skip during the motion. Dave does a great job as usual :D

    • @RastjackA
      @RastjackA 3 роки тому +1

      @@spacetime_wanderer doing the same thing really lol even if you do an accidental up or down it kinda still sounds the same. Singing the highs and lows in your head kinda helps the strum pattern

    • @spacetime_wanderer
      @spacetime_wanderer 3 роки тому

      @@RastjackA i agree it sounds similar with a note here and there but i am benefiting a lot by playing it slowly but correctly. and i occasionally play it fast (and sadly wrong) but got the key part. The down before the highlighted chord change part (d-d-D--udud-D--udud-D-du-udududu) give that distinctive loud down stroke. so not missing atleast those 3 downs is key to sounding close. I am a noob so please correct me if I am wrong.
      But in any case my goal is to play correct and in beats always even if it's slow. i think playing fast is natural outcome of getting it right consistently.

      I think this song is pretty easy to strum because you can kinda feel your way through it. It's intuitive to me. You can hear how it's supposed to be played. You don't have to get it absolutely exactly like the recording but as long as you get the three down strums at the start and then dudududu chuggy part before going back to the em7 it'll sound like Wonderwall, especially if you're singing it.
