cleaning clogged filter on Insignia 4.5 Cu. ft. 12-Cycle Top-Loading Washer

I pray you see this today. I'm having issues with mine draining I cannot for the life of me get it. Is that what this will fix?

Will it drain? I did this step to see why it did not spin or drain. If it does not drain check the drain pump

@ sorry I’m not sure what could be the issue then. Mine would not drain because the drain pump was clogged

The screw down in the filter I never removed. I ended up having to clean the pump
