I'm ace, aro, and one of the most introverted people I know. As far as conventional dating goes, I have little to offer a partner, and it's not what I'm interested in anyway.
What I do want is to increase my circle of adopted family. People to take trips with, have holiday meals with, do favors for, and be able to count on for support in the long term. But how do you ask for *that*?

Emotional intimacy is much broader than sex. Most allosexual people I know, esp women have multiple emotionally intimate friendships ( including relatives) that are nonsexual.
