Thank you so much, it feels good to be better and special when its sunny and bright outside. Perfect day to share this tree with you guys. Glad to hear its warming up there too. Its almost planting time 🤗
Great addition
I picked up a Dwarf Moro Blood Orange from Homedepot & just transplanted into a larger container.
BTW Pacoima Costco has their citrus trees. I added a Oro Blanco Grapefruit & a Nagami Kumquat for $24 each.
Today I also finally found a Reed avocado tree grom Green Arrow $39.
Keep them videos coming & stay safe.

Looks soooo good! Ugh! The trunk looks soooo thick, that tree is alive & thriving thanks to you 💪🏼❤️
Hi Michelle, its a happy camper🤗. Im excited to have it home with me. Im running out of space lol. But I can always squeeze one more 😜. It bounces back sooo fast. Thank you for watching 🙂
Garden Love tell me about it! Even though citrus is not too god for cold climate here in Texas... I am always inclined to buy more 😩
This is some of the best news I’ve heard and seen in a while Diana! That sweet little tree found a loving home😍
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 thank you, Im excited to have it home with me. I heard the fruit is amazing. Have you tried the fruit?
No ma’am I haven’t. I bet it great though.
You did a great job taking care of that poor tree.
Thank you, its so pretty. I couldn't believe how fast it bounces back up. 🤗
You will be pleased with this tree I have this one .it was in a pot but after a year I put it in the ground.the fruit is sweet with reddish flesh.good luck this growing season
Hi Rob, thank you. I'm looking forward to it. How fast does this tree grow? Is it a slow or fast grower? Be blesses🙂
Cara Cara Oranges are awesome. I always buy a bag when I am at Costco. I love it so much, I got a tree from Homedepot last Spring and put it on the ground immediately. It has grown a lot since, the trunk size has nearly doubled. It is a faster grower than my Clementine tree and much faster than my Oawari Satsuma tree.
Wow, that would explain why it bounces back sooooo fastm its a fast growing tree. Thank you for that piece of information, I was actually wondering that. My satsuma has been growing pretty slow but last year it surprised me with several fruits even after I tried to remove them all off. My Satsuma is in the ground. Thank youbfor watching and for your feedback. Have a blesses day.
I need a little TLC from you. I think your so cute.🌼🌻🌺🌸💮🦚
please tell me the Cara-Cara citrus tree has thorns?
Your awesome Diana I think I have a crush on you. But don't tell anyone 😊🤓
Thank you, I couldn't help myself. I had to bring it home. 🙂
@@GardenloveHomestead your so cute
Do the Cara Cara orange trees have thorns?
Not that I can tell. Mine don't have any
How is the tree doing now?
Its doing really well. I think i need to move it. Its getting way to much sun. I can see signs that it could be doing better in another spot. Ill be posting a garden tour soon after the front yard tour and you will seenit there. Thank you 🙂
@@GardenloveHomestead does that mean that the leaves are a little shriveled up from the sun?
Hi where can i buy a cara cara orange tree. I check 3 home depot stores and they said that they fo not sell citrus trees. Thanks
Thats weird my local nursery still has citrus. I was just there yesterday. I would go to an other store.
@@GardenloveHomestead I thought Home Depot no longer carried fruit trees, but recently when I was walking into the store, I noticed a whole bunch of fruit trees way on the side in front. There were Tahitian limes, Meyer lemons, and Tart Kumquats.
Damn, $15?! I was struggling to find a red navel so I stopped into Home Depot today and saw they had only the biggest pot, but it had not bar code. None of them did. So they didn't even know how much they cost. I noticed that it was grafted on what I believe was a dwarf shock, which I really didn't want anyway. So I looked at EVERY SINGLE TAG to see if I could find another, smaller one until I was just like, "Oh well, guess I'll keep looking somewhere else". Then as I was picking up my stuff that I had set down (because God forbid I grab a cart), I saw one! A smaller one...with a price tag! It was $71.00 💔 and didn't look all that healthy, but after searching far & wide, I bought it. Regardless of the deadwood, they wouldn't discount it for me, so it's up to me to revive it to full health.
I wish you would have done a video on your cara cara, I think that's something a lot of people go through when trying to save trees from the big box stores & yours looks amazing! Well, maybe the next one? Thanks for the video!
Oh man that sucks, I can't believe they didnt want to give you a discount. What state are you in? I will definitely will do a video like that. What I did was up-pot it like any of my other trees. I just deeped it in water for a few hours more like over night lol. I forgot about it and than Up-Pot it. Ill make one soon. Thank you for sharing your story with me and for watching. I'm sure your 🌳 will do great. Please keep me posted.
Hello.
I leave in Downey, Ca. I would like to buy a cara cara orange tree. Can you please advise where i can buy one. Thanks
I found this one at a homedepot. Its almost the end of summer and they usually get their shipment of new trees during april. But you might be luck and find one. Try lows and or ajy local nurseries. If you ask your local nursery they might be able to order it for you. But if you find it at a big box store it might be cheaper. I really really hope you find one.
Thank you
Where do you get citrus soil from?
Where ever I can find them at. But usually our local nursery Green thumb. Sometimes the big box stores have good citrus.
Thanks!
15 bucks! I just bought a cara cara and a mimosa @$60 each at a grower in Phoenix and it doesn't look as good.
Really, wow that is a lot of 💰 money. I really dont have soace for it but i couldn't help myself and this beautiful tree and great deal.
