- Hello, in continuation of my previous vid where I mentioned I was going to switch tunes, I finally did. I decided to go with 034 Motorsports tune for my car. So far the tunes been fantastic and I plan on upgrading even more soon!
Message me on IG if you have any other questions;
/ elictricityscape
can you use 034 stage 1 for a 2009 A6 3.0 ?
Thanks for the video. How is your fuel mileage, drivability, etc...compared to stock. Any other mods to the car to support the tune? Keep up the videos.
The car feels much quicker in Sport mode than regular Driving mode, Driving mode is very similar to stock, can't really tell unless you absolutely get on it, of course I haven't done a TCU tune which really helps feel the full power of the tune. Fuel mileage didn't change much as I had a heavy foot already, full tank lasts me 2 weeks and it's my daily, although my job isn't that far from home. Only other mod I have done performance wise is an intake, but I don't have a heatshield on it so IATs could possibly be lower plugging it back into a stock airbox or getting a heatshield, plan on doing that once I stage 2 DP the car, and thanks!
Look into that tcu tune beta they have 👍🏼 it’s $250 right now
@@ALLTHINGSSPORTSTOP10 I might go with Berg or Melen until 034 sorts the TCU tune, I hear alot of people had problems with it, but I'm not 100%
Any update on the dragy?
I bought used a6 3.0t and its already tuned. How can I find out what kind of tune I have on it? Rpms go to 7100. Thanks
Easiest way would be to email numerous tuning companies like APR, 034, IE and give them your VIN and ask them if they have anything in their database, you can also ask the seller you purchased from if they know how it got tuned, good luck
Can you go straight to stage 2 or do you need to upgrade parts?
Stage 1 is just software, stage 2 single pulley requires either crank or SC pulley to be upgraded and heat exchanger is recommended, stage 2+ requires both pulleys to be upgraded or just crank pulley be upgraded to dual pulley ration, most companies now sell a 207mm crank thats a one and done that gives you stage 2+ ration, at that point you should really look at getting rid of your cats and a heat exhanger for sure
Did you do the transmission tune as well?
I have not tuned it yet, I'm planning to soon just haven't got around to doing it.
does it come with pop and bangs or do you have to add it
I'm pretty sure they do offer one, but I'd advise against running it either way.
how much HP and torque did you gain
Motor is rated 310 HP and 325 TQ from factory, 034 stage 1 on 91 octane puts you at 430 HP and 375 TQ according to 034Motorsports. So about 100hp and around 50 tq, the tq won't really start moving until you start switching out pulleys and stuff, but car is def much quicker on stage 1 then stock.
@@roge6675 With 100 extra horses and even with only 50 tq you should definitely notice the difference over stock. I seen in you other comment that you can tell the difference in sport mode but not in normal. So was the tune only designed to work while in sport/dynamic mode then?
@@robertdaone Oh no, I didn't mean that, the tune is def noticeable regardless of what mode the car is in, just feels a little better in S v regular D mode because the gears are hold a bit longer, but you can feel it is much quicker than stock regardless of drive mode.
Fast forward to 5:15 seconds and thank me later.
Geez that seems slow.
It is, DA is constantly above 5500 this time of year where I'm located and temps are over 110 degrees, there was no prep, no TCU tune, just floored it a bit, not sure what you're expecting. I haven't officially ran it but I just purchased a dragy so I'll see how that goes.
