PA28-161 Landing at Inverness Airport EGPE

Flying from Highland Aviation in Inverness. The flight departed into the Lossiemouth MATZ for a Coastal Transit along the stunning Moray Coast. Coasting in at Buckie, we followed the A96 road towards Inverness and this video is the final approach segment starting just south of Nain. The weather was incredible, but the wind was a challenge - even more so after the forced hitus and admittedly out of practice of windy conditions. There was sharp gusts of turbulence that kept me on my toes for the majority of the approach, and after a small balloon, we land safely back at Inverness after an hour in the skies.
Thanks to the fantastic team at Highland Aviation in Inverness, who managed to get me checked out and flying solo again within a morning despite all the mayhem that reopening a school is after the Covid disruption. More info - www.highlandavi...
