I just realized that weird sound you hear while in the cockpit is the pilot breathing and holding their breath so they don't pass out. That's a nice little detail there.
yeah now that you say i realised. It´s because in corners the amount of g is too high to breathe or your lungs would collapse. Thats why pilots gotta stay very fit, it´s a heavy job

Altai The more g's you get, the harder the breathing. When at 6 g's, you have the equivalent of half a ton of force on your chest. He had moments of 7 g. The average Air Force g amount is 6 g.
eQuALiZeR The pilot is performing the "Hick Maneuver", using breathing techniques so that the blood from his brain doesn't drain into his feet, which would obviously cause him to black out.

My internet: about to end this man's whole career before it even starts.
Thing is most people never get good enough at the dogfighting portion. They just say oh jets easy, but they can't actually get a flawless round like this because they didn't practice enough to be able 1 to dogfight either 1 or 2 jets at a time or to make the correct decisions at the correct moments.
Jet was hardest thing to master for me in battlefield. I died alot over and over with huge amounts of frustration and hours apon hours of practice. I'm now capable of doing exactly what this guy does in video with flawless rounds. I'm jet service star 308. Anyone who tells you jet pilots are noobs is talking out their arse.
I only wrote this huge comment because i know the effort and dedication this guy will have put in to get this good. Just to have some ignorant fuck say "try it in hardcore" or "jets is easy for noobs"when they can't even string a 2 kill streak together in a easy mode jet

It's tru bro, I've tried jets loads of times with the frustration you speak of. These days almost anyone in a jet is there because they are good at it so I never last more than 20-30 seconds. Don't get enough points to unlock anything lol

A-10 can be replaced by something like a prop plane, which they are actually looking into.
the F-35 is stealthier and doesn't need a long runway like the A10. the a10 is unnecessarily risking pilots lives when the f-35 or even drones can do what it does with much less risk and a higher chance of success. the a10 is obsolete when the US has the F-35 and has been obsolete ever since drones started to carry larger payloads

The Painkiller well the thing about the canopy is they’re all rigged with explosives so no matter what when you pull the ejection seat the canopy is gonna come off.

Right. I don’t think people realize how insane the main gun is on this plane. In the Marine Corp I had the opportunity to hear it a few times. There really is no way to describe the sound. Not only that the devastation it wreaks is also something you have to see in person to get the full scope. Videos and video games cannot do it justice.

A10’s effective combat radius is somewhere near 400miles irl. It has heatseekers, six 500lb Jdams on quick ejection racks, or two 2,000 pounders, unguided rocketpods, and the Gau 8.
80% of the Gau 8 rounds fired from 4,000ft land within a 20ft radius. Think Golmud flight ceiling times 4.

This gameplay Is very good and id like to be as skilled as a pilot as he is one day even tho i play kinda good with a jet ive never been this good but props to him for owning the battlefield.
After playing this, I could never look at any newer FPS the same again.

So this here illustrates the problem with BF4 and multiplayer games in general. Your fun is someone else's pain. By about kill 30 I just felt sorry for the other team. Northland had completely locked down all their vehicles. There was nothing to stop him shooting into the enemy spawn and farming kills which is pretty much what he did for the second half of the match. As soon a vehicles spawned - air or ground, he was on them and punishing them.
I have mixed feelings about this - having been on the giving and receiving end of this kind of thing. We all like to farm noobs but no one likes to be the noob being farmed... On the one hand the game should reward someone for being skillful, but on the other hand this kind of domination just causes resentment and rage quitting which long term isn't good for the game.
I don't know what the solution is - having match making would definitely ruin some of the fun of BF4 - the fact that it is all skill levels in a server and being able to feel that you are playing particularly well is part of the enjoyment. I've played competitive matches where every game is a struggle because your opponents are all of a high skill level, and I get that sometimes you just want to sit back and be more casual.
Being able to kick dominant players isn't a solution either because they want to have their fun too... My feeling is that if I've gone on a 30+ kill streak, I'm happy to die. Not that I've ever sacrificed myself lol, and it can't be a solution where your vehicle just automatically explodes after a 30+ kill streak!
Anyhow I'm surprised that the ticket gap wasn't greater considering one side basically had no heavy vehicles for most of the match. Bearing that in mind, I'd say the Chinese side must have played a really good infantry game.
+Kelvin Liew DICE's multiplayer titles are suffering from a complete lack of skill-/rank-based matchmaking. In a day and age, where all kind of successful multiplayer games like CS GO, LoL or Dota II (all PC games) show how it's done right, it's almost a crime to still completely rely on a public "free for all" server system.
Allthough I will get a lot of hate again for stating this once more, but I feel this is because modern DICE titles are designed for the casuals and consoles first and only for serious players second. Instead of keeping complex gamemechanics that rewards practice and ledding the players meet on a matchmaking basis, their solution is to dumb down the games further and further, making the weapons and tools in their "shooters" so easy, that it becomes impossible for better players to set themselves apart by actual gameplay. Giving the bad players the illusion of keeping up and doing decent.
+TurboPummel Well I certainly agree that there are some really bad examples of skill vs results balancing. The MAA is the prime example of this. It's just a point and click weapon. Or the mortar, another point and kill weapon. You might as well be playing an ipad game on the toilet if all you're doing is using the mortar game after game! Also semi-auto shotguns are also far too easy to use right now... they can dominate up to 50 metres just through spam firing.
EA and Dice are definitely pushing towards a more casual market. It makes sense from a business point of view for them. Battlefront is the perfect example of this. I'm sure they're all counting the dollars right now! However for players such as myself who have sunk hundreds of hours into a game like BF4, I think the easiest solution is to give server admins the tools to create matches that cater comfortably for all groups. As I said, sometimes it's nice to be in a competitive environment where you're playing against another tough clan, but other times it's just nice to go stomp noobs on a public server.
I can't imagine it would be too hard for DICE to give server admins the ability to matchmake according to whatever stats they want - for instance - only lvl 100 + or only K/D 2 + or whatever. If they could switch on or switch off vehicles, weapons etc... that would also be handy. I've played several clan matches on say zavod where the rules were no vehicles, no shotguns etc... and it was fun and competitive. Being able to stop players equipping things like IGLAS, stingers, LAWS, getting rid of the MAA, or semi auto shotguns on certain maps would also be welcome in my opinion.
***** I actually think in terms of business they choosed wrong. With every installment of Battlefield, the community of each title dies off faster.
I think with the catastrophic release versions of Hardline, BF4 and BF3, followed by a marathon of patches and updates, they actually killed the franchise for good. Which is why they focus on Battlefront now. They can resell the crippled frostbyte Battlefield mechanics one more time this way.
Large parge of the online community aren't following the hype around Battlefront though and have realized it will be a huge letdown.
Also, matchmaking by ranks or skill group doens't mean it's competitive. It just ensures a fair surrounding.

Northern is OP because he has unlimited ammo. Jets should at least have to circle base for 10 seconds or so to get more ammo.

Even when I see the A-10 warthog I'm either cheering in game or I'm running for my life.
When I'm in a tank or heli, I get decimated by the attack jets. When I'm in the attack jets I get decimated by the stealth jets and the maa
Just get behind the enemy jets by flying high then coming down to fly behind them, and kill them before they can out fly you, it's what I do or else the stealth jet would kill me
Once I got chased by an attack and stealth jet and I was like where the hell is my stealth jet. Ofc I didn't survive
that's the hardest part, that normally happens at the start, so I fly high round the edge of the map so they don't see me
after that make sure you take out their jets when they respawn so there's not 2 on you

100% realistic, an A10 shooting down a Chinese stealth fighter jet.
Because that fighter jet was being flown by a bot. It’s hardwired in the game for stealth jets to come out on top in a dogfight. Some people are just so shit it doesn’t matter

I personally have over 500 hours in the attack jet, and can tell you that it's not that smooth. it's usually down right clunky. you never have this much turning radius in the attack jet. the players he went against were absolutely atrocious. they weren't even trying, otherwise they would have used stingers and brought him down quickly. Also he uses rocket pods and not jdams. their not that hard to use.
yeah thats what I thought... I got about 70 hours in attack jets with 13 service stars and I thought this looked... off. I thought it was just because hes on pc and im on console.

Well, to be fair, the real A-10 can use air to air heat seeker missile, so "dogfight" is all it could do to defend itself against other aircraft, if it has to come to this.
But yeah, coming from DCS World I was a little bit surprise to see an A-10 dogfighting like a X-wing. :D

You did not met real stealth jet pilot opponent for entire flight. There is no way you will make better turns due to current game physics config so you eventually loose dogfight. Very, very lucky in this round :)
