    In Diana's fear was the truth. Superman turned to Wonder Woman when Lois died and manipulated his grief and turned Superman into someone he wasn't meant to be.

      Croz Raven animated movie? Yeah.
      comic? no. She was ruthless and cold but not a lovesick sociopath. In fact between her and Aquaman she was the more reasonable of the two and wanted to stop the war. Again she was still ruthless but not bloodthirsty like Wonder Bitch (that's how I call Injustice WW).

    So Superman loses his wife & child due to The Joker, “I took one life to the lives of millions”.
    Wonder Woman seems to know exactly what she’s doing, keeping Clark in his unstable mental state, but the minute he starts showing signs of stability, she immediately starts reminding him why he’s doing these acts of violence.
    I’ve also noticed she is very capable of using reverse psychology on people, she also uses gentle persuasiveness towards those who are uncertain of joining them, like Super Girl, when she was questioning their motives.
    There is no question about who the true villain really is...Wonder Woman.

      Sad that your justifying Superman’s action by blaming it on the woman. Killing tons of innocent people because of loss, knowing that loss is inevitable yes you can grieve but taking that onto other people is never justified. Wonder Woman is obviously not justified either but Superman’s actions are his and his only she didn’t force him to do anything maybe persuade but it’s Superman’s powers and body not Diana’s

    • @cdog157
      @cdog157 Рік тому +4

      @@maybeitsmenf course she is to blame. It's called gas lighting. It's literally what she's doing. Every time Superman looks like he's getting his head on straight, she keeps him off balance. It's worse in the comics too.
      I mean in the game she's willing what's Shazam die instead of stepping in at all and she's down with killing cities so yeah she is pretty bad.

    • @cdog157
      @cdog157 Рік тому

      But if you want to know who did it right then Justice movie actually in my opinion is better than the games or the comic books when it comes to how the heroes would have reacted.
      Wonder woman has always not liked weak and corrupt leaders. But in the movie when Clark kills a bunch of kids ww is not okay with it. She actually understands restraint.
      In the movie flash actually dies, because in the comic books and the game, it makes no sense that the flash would be willing to do all the craziness that he did with the regime. It's not his character.

    Also, doesn't it means that Wonder Woman is a hypocrite, since she fights for women's right/women superiority, and yet is willing to serve a tyrant, simply because she can't control her lust for said tyrant?
    In other words, she's basically a superpowered version of Harley Quinn, minus the likability. Hell, Injustice 2 actually acknowledges that Wonder Woman's turned into a Harley Quinn wannabe.

    While Diana is at fault for pushing Superman, I still, personally, blame Batman too. He left Clark early, alienating him instead of stepping into to well....talk to him, guide him, just be a friend and nudge him on a good course. Then the early secrets, his decision to not talk with Clark about anything, stubborness to his 'no killing' morale...all pushed Clark further away as he, very quickly several times, oppossed him with force right off the bat. He kept provoking him, unwittingly, and helped to lengthen a war that only kept escalating.

    Don't forget that Sinestro is also the true villain on Injustice 2 as if you can remember what he told Superman about similar incident that happened to him when he was one of the Green Lantern Corps. Then, he told Superman that incident changed his mind to be a tyrant and started to create his own corps which was formed as Sinestro / Yellow Lantern Corps. In fact, Sinestro was part of the Green Lantern Corps; however, the incident that killed his wife & son was bullshit as he tried to brainwash Superman to rule the world together with him. So, talking about the true villains of Injustice 2, there are 2 of them: Wonder Woman & Sinestro !

      Yeah, This is the correct order of events:
      1- Heihachi seizes Zaibatsu from Jinpachi. Jinpachi goes to hiding
      2- Heihachi kills Kazumi in self-defense
      3- Heihachi imprisons Jinpachi under honmaru cuz he knew Jinpachi wouldn't stop until he kills Heihachi
      4- Heihachi throws Kazuya off a cliff

    • @Xehanort10
      @Xehanort10 5 років тому +1

      Heihachi was evil and wanted power and domination long before he met Kazumi. The Hachijo clan knew that and that's why they sent her to kill him but she fell in love with him and thought her love and the birth of Kazuya would make him give up his ambitions but he didn't and she realised the only way to stop him was to kill him. So she made a deal with Akuma, telling him to kill Heihachi if she didn't manage to and went to confront Heihachi who beat her in their fight and killed her. But instead of realising that him being power hungry had turned his wife against and stopping what he was doing he went on with his ambitions anyway. So it wasn't a self fulfilling prophecy thing where because she tried to stop his plans it caused them to happen anyway. Heihachi would have done what he did no matter what. The amount of people misinterpreting Tekken 7's story as "Heihachi was a good man who turned evil because his wife tried to kill him" is unreal. He was always a monster so even if Kazumi hadn't tried to kill him he would have always wanted power.

    @Machowesker17 7 років тому +24

    She is, no doubt. Though it makes me wonder how was her life before the events of the Injustice comics. From very early in the comics she shows signs of being little more than a sociopath who's after Superman's love. Like aside from her love for him, she wasn't quite like the other Wonder Women from the multiverse. It makes me think that her life and upbringing may have diverged somewhat from her doppelgangers. From most of the other heroes, even Superman, you get a sense of who they were before the regime, their personalities resemble their doppelgangers and main earth counterparts, all except Diana. I really don't see the old good Diana in her, like that good side never existed to begin with. Just my view on it but it makes me think that they should make an issue where WW reflects on her past before the regime to see if she was like this all along and was simply keeping it inside until it exploded out of control. Anyway great video and agree 100%. Can't wait for the Superman video to come to see your points.

    • @supermarshall2.053
      @supermarshall2.053 7 років тому +8

      There us an issue that shows flashbacks a few years before this whole war started. As it turns out Diana isn't a founding member of the League in this universe and she is the newest member. I think there's another issue where Diana thinks to herself that "maybe" she wanted a military-ruled world where both she and Clark were together BEFORE both games. So to her it's hardly original.

    • @Machowesker17
      @Machowesker17 7 років тому +8

      SuperMarshall 2.0 Oh right. I remember something like that. If I remember correctly she was instantly smitten with Clark from the moment she met him. • @Xehanort10

      According to one of the Injustice comics she was in love with Steve Trevor during World War II but he turned out to be a Nazi spy who wanted to steal the Lasso of Hestia for the Axis forces but after Diana found out about his betrayal she killed him. That made her more distrustful. IMO Diana wants to rule the world and is using Superman and the Regime to do it. She doesn't love. She just feels lust for him.

    I've always known Wonder Woman in general was dark even in the regular universe because she's never in any universe had a problem with killing or even take down her fellow justice league members. She's basically a loner and if you disagree. Her new 52 is kind of bloodthirsty and in rebirth she's very naive but she's not blood thirsty but she still has no problem of killing. I've always had WW in doubt because she says she all about peace but she doesn't have any restraint on killing like Superman, Batman, Flash, GL and Vixen. She's one of the few leaguers that thinks killing maybe necessary like when she killed Maxwell lord and the many time she killed Ares even in the new 52. Rebirth is trying to fix that from her by making her more naive.

    i think this is what wonder woman was always like but she had friends who kept that part of her in check, if you watched the animated cartoons you can always tell she had these thoughts when ever she would get upset with mankind, hell plenty of times she sounds like a radical feminists and blaming all men for all the ills for the world hell there was a time she had said " violence is all mankind understands (and she usually refers to men not just humans in general)" , so this version of her doesn't surprise me, in fact i think superman becoming a dictator was just the excuse she needed to justify her true beliefs about the world. she was so willing to follow superman without question.

    Out of the Trinity, Wonder Woman does seem to be the most comfortable with killing villains. Even in other universes. Which makes sense, since she was raised by the Amazonian warriors, whos culture and ways of viewing things are about 2000 years old. Where Batman wants to make sure nobody has to go through the same pain he did and fears of becoming if he were to kill and Superman is always holding back out of the fear of breaking someone.

  • @TheIronMoose

    I love this version of Wonder Woman. To me she is just closer to her militaristic upbringing. When Clark was rising to power she was too. The natural flow when taking this kind of power is to either become more militaristic in order to enforce your power, or stop seeking more power. They both made horrible choices when enforcing or enhancing their political/military power. Clark and Diana were both corrupted by each other and by the power itself.
    Wonder Woman and Superman both were terrifying in the story. I love when these characters go in this direction because it makes you appreciate how much grace it takes to stay humble with those abilities. All that because a super powered alien had one bad day.

    While I agree that when compared to her modern comics counterpart, the Injustice Wonder Woman is very out of character. However when compared to Pre Crisis Wonder Woman from the Silver and Bronze Age their are more similarities. like Injustice, Pre Crisis Wonder Woman was more quick to anger and at times became frustrated with her mission to bring peace to man's world. So Injustice Wonder Woman has her Pre Crisis personality and her New 52 origin.

    Kinda off topic, but you guys think Kent Nelson is dead? We saw the Helm of Nabu crushed by Superman and Kent was impaled by Brainiac (or his ship), but he was brought into the ship, much like Supergirl was. Maybe I'm just in denial because I love Dr. Fate

    • @dangercats77
      @dangercats77 7 років тому

      it could also be a different universe's Dr. Fate, or based on his ending, he survived, took down Braniac (probably one of the only ones that could because magic tends to be op against science and machines in DC) and he retires, giving John Constantine the helmet (like how John is the new Dr. Fate in Rebrith, but can take off the helmet any time he wishes because Constantine is also op)

      dangercats77 you think some of the ladder endings are cannon? Seemed like a majority of them seem non-cannon. But they never explain how Fate managed to escape the void. As far as I know

    • @dangercats77
      @dangercats77 7 років тому

      some ladder endings are always canon, just like in MK. However, I'd like to think that Fate's was canon because poor Kent needs a break in his life. But he could still just be a Fate from an alternate universe, or--hell-- let's just open ourselves up to timetravel because Brainiac 5 is around! I'm sure we won't know if he really did survive until Injustice 3 or a confirmation by NRS, but Fate is one of my favorites as well and I hate seeing him die. (plus with the Helmet of Fate, John Constantine needs a power nerf BADLY) or even one of the DLC heroes may come along and say that they rescued Fate in their ladder endings. Usually endings with multiple characters doing something becomes canon. Also, an explanation for Fate's survival is something that eventually always happens in DC (but is worse of a problem in Marvel). This reason is "because magic". I hate this reason, but that very well could be the answer you're looking for.

      True but she still pushed Superman to the edge leading to their death. ESPECIALLY with Shazam. Out of all of the people who were near Superman during Shazam's death, Wonder Woman stood the best chance in stepping in to stop Clark from Killing a kid.

    Overall a great video but you made one mistake. Her actions are not unintentional. If you remember the Injustice comics year one, you probably know about what happened just after the Atlantic was torn out and placed in Sahara desert and then returned. After that, Aquaman asks her, if she could tell Superman, that when he is ready and calm, Aquaman will be there to help him. She intentionally doesn't tell Superman about it, so he thinks Aquaman is a total asshole who should be under his rule. Shealso intentionally guides Superman to the position of a global leader and makes him rule the world just because she wants to rule it with him. And then there is the death of Alfred Pennyworth. Zsasz is hired to murder him with the goal of emotionally breaking Batman. We always thought Superman hired Zsasz, but there's something wrong with such assumption. Superman has killed a lot of people in the Injustice universe, but he has always done it himself and directly, even when he did so while being furious. But this? Sending a psychopathic mass murderer to assasinate an old man who is not that much of a threat to Superman except for the time when he took one of those green pills but even then, Superman should be able to kill him anyway, not mentioning the fact that Superman is definitely fast enough to kill Alfred before he even thinks of taking a green pill. No. This was a work of a masterming who wants to remain anonymous and look like he or she is innocent. That seems much more like Wonder Woman hired Zsasz to kill Alfred, doesn't it?
    My conclusion: In the Injustice universe, Wonder Woman has never been a hero. She always tried to make Duperman rule the world and always tried to create such a terrible event for him, that he would eventually snap and become a tyrant. I even think she gave the Joker intel on how to kidnap Lois Lane and I also think she gave him that nuke. Overall I think she is a psychopath who wants to rule the world and enjoys killing. And also a hypocritical feminist which just makes it even worse and I honestly didn't think it could be any worse. If Arkham Asylum would still exist in the Injustice, she should be placed there...

    LOL, I was suspicious of this when I was watching Injustice Diana hadn't found anybody who appeals to her since Steve Trevor & when she feels she's found the right guy again not only is he on her power level & can intimate with without snapping him in half he's very in love with & married to another woman. And Harley was savage for not only willing to admit her own faults but she called Diana out on having the hots for Clark when Diana was trying to hide it from everyone imagine if Lois found out? She would begin to get insecure & compare herself with Diana & fear losing Clark & brought it to his attention & he assures Lois his love & heart is with her not Diana. But then again Lois is a reporter she knows how to spot people she may have caught Diana checking Clark out. At the end of Injustice when the Lois from the other universe appears Clark fell to his knees at the sight of her & Diana figured she better quickly change sides since Clark still loves Lois. Still she should've been held responsible for her actions too not everything was on Superman. In other universes Diana only sees Clark as a friend I just wish they added Diana's manipulation of Clark in the Injustice animated cartoon where Harley, Batman & even Catwoman called Diana out on how she was changing Clark.

    I honestly think Wonder Woman should have been her own faction in this story, rather than being... whatever it is we got. She's the one person who would be able to see past BOTH Superman and Batman's bullshit, and realize that their petty egos and unwillingness to TALK are actually getting innocent people killed.
    She could play a diplomatic role between them at the start (until perhaps she gets injured), and then branches off into her own faction gathering up both heroes and villains alike to slowly form a resistance against this chaos.
    It would be pretty poetic, Superman would be like Macbeth (the tragic hero), Batman would be like Banquo (the 'friend' whom Macbeth tries to kill, but in this story he's much more resilient), and Wonder Woman would be like Macduff (A looming hero in the background, who slowly builds up a resistance against Macbeth).

    Not a bad idea, but I think we're looking at the wrong person.
    Someone did, indeed, push Superman just a tad too far. However, I don't think it was Wonder Woman. See, at the end of Year One, if I have it right, when Captain Atom died, the blast put Wonder Woman in a coma, and Clark continued down his path without her insight. She had pushed him to take a more active role in solving conflicts around the world, but not quite to the point where Superman decided to rule it.
    Enter Sinestro. HE was the one who whispered in Superman's ear about control. Even the Flash, when he first heard about Sinestro's idea, told Clark this was a bad idea. Diana, when she woke up from her coma, just went along with it.
