Well Marvel has the characters to contend with DC, but they aren't the main ones. It's mainly because DC characters are Gods living with Man trying to navigate human life while being able to break everything. And Marvel is about humans who are trying to deal with being a hero and the responsibility that comes with it. The most iconic characters from both publishers (in my opinion) sum it up, Superman can break the world but puts mental blocks to keep his full power away since he didn't want to be a hero. While Spider Man comics literally coined the famous quote "With great power comes great responsibility"

Also wonder woman isn’t commonly known for being able to breathe outer space so when Thor knocked her into the moon, she should’ve had a harder time if anything. I haven’t watched it yet and I don’t remember much about this one other than the fact her new movie was coming out around this time which I thought might have swayed it. That being said I always figured DC had the more op heroes because everyone gets scaled to Superman through some interaction they had across different comics and the way the saying goes from previous death battles was “dc has the strongest heroes but marvel has the strongest humans”. I’m struggling to think of the marvel equivalent to Superman but marvel does have a fair share of overpowered enemies to overcome, just not like the man of steel.
look at the speed calculations from this vs the thor vs vegeta. They put thor at 670,000,000 mph in thor vs ww, but in thor vs vegeta he is somehow 20.7 x 10^37 x light speed. Anyone saying that wonder woman would still beat thor after these calculations really has no basis to stand on.

Thor has been in 3 death battles and the feats they use for him in each episode are drastically different. I know that’s how comics work but it’s only been about 9 years between the 3 episodes
The problem is Thor has been downgraded over the years and Wonder Woman has been massively upgraded over the years. If this were say, 70s or 80s WW vs Thor of the same era, Thor would have stomped her flat without effort.

He’d certainly handle her better nowadays then he would a few years back but one mustn’t forget Wonder Woman has faced the likes of Superman, Doomsday, Professor Zoom, and Darkseid and lived to tell about it. Hell, she’s even beaten some of these characters on more than one occasion. All of them can easily be compared to Thor, as well as surpass him (i.e. Superman and Darkseid). Also, her weaponry would still prove to be deadly to Thor. Especially her signature sword. I would say more times than not, Wonder Woman can still bag a victory against Thor. The best Thor can do would be to fight Wonder Woman to a standstill. But, even I can say Thor is capable of defeating Wonder Woman, just not quite as easily as one may think.

Storm breaker can't actually do that. Power levels were all over the place in that movie. Hulk is stronger than iron Man but loses to power stone thanos easily. Iron Man solos like 4 or 5 stone thanos and does way better. Don't use those fights to scale anyone.

But they give their heroes op villains aswell, I mean superman has to deal with Darkseid, Doomsday, and lex luthor (his armor and weapons are made out of pure kryptonite)
I think the reason was due to the fact that Marvel and DC were competing intensely back in the 60's through late 80's early 90's, and tried making their superheroes stand out from the competition. Like they had a type of "'Cold War" on who had the superior superheroes. Which is why I believe their powers got ridiculously op. Of course this is just my own personal theory. Just sayin'.

One of the biggest scandals in Death Battle history. In a rematch, after watching the Vegeta battle, I think we all know Wonder Woman literally doesn't stand a chance.
That's what is going to irritate me most. They are both fictional characters. Who cares who wins. Does it really matter at the end of the day? Death Battle is for entertainment, no more no less.
This fight was horribly researched. Planetary Thor and Wonder Woman? Like okay, let's ignore Wonder Woman one shoting a blood lusted Wally West, her constant scaling to Superman, being comparable to Darkseid, breaking into the Speed Force, Etc. Let's also ignore Thor pushing back Yggdrasil, his consistent scaling to the likes of Galactus, Bringing Odin to his knees, two weaker Thors clashing creating energy that shook the universe and was felt across all planes of existence, Thor resisting and physically overpowering infinite gravity, etc. I can see why both sides call bs on this battle. And the latest Wonder Woman match is further proof of this. At least Rune King Thor and Witch Maker Wonder Woman were left untouched. As for who I think wins, I do think it can go either way tbh. Though I do like Thor more, I don't deny Wonder Woman has some pretty good feats and Scaling. Feel free to reply and leave your replies down below. I'm interested to see what y'all think.
She didn't fly (except in her plane) in the 40's. Sometime in the late fifties/early sixties she learned to ride air currents but she still wasn't much of a flier back then!
G.I. Neverdie yeah, there’s literally so many top tiers like GL, Flash, MMH, cap atom, shazam, etc. but i do think that Marvel has a lot more galaxy/universe level characters

They had Pre-Crisis Dr. Fate fight Dr. Strange Also, Wonder Woman can go toe to toe with Superman, Superman beat a multiversal entity (Braniac God) with one punch. That was New Earth Superman in Convergence. Also Also, Wonder Woman, Superman, and Captain Marvel together lifted the Tome of Infinite Pages, that too was Post-Crisis, and the comic said they were equally contributing. The Tome of Infinite Pages has the weight of Marvel's Multiversal Eternity (its DC equivalent I mean). It is only limited through not including the Anti-Matter Multiverse, The Dark Multiverse, and the Outerversal Vertigo existence. This is established through the limits of the Positive Multiverse for the first two, and Lucifer destroying the Tome with his Heavenly Fire, and Lucifer's fire not being able to destroy Outerversal entities, only his Warping via the Will of God can do that.

Wonder Woman lifting a third of the Tome of Infinite Pages is a better strength feat than anything Thor has by orders of magnitude. Also, the only characters who were unaffected by CoiE are the New Gods and Vertigo's Outerversal Characters, the Lords of Order and Chaos were affected by it.

Assuming it is the smallest amount for a body to be considered a planet, it would weigh around 132 SEXTILLION TONS, keep in mind it was with one arm. It was a forcefield that was as strong as the weight of 20 planets, and it was being pushed against him.

Here’s the beef I have with this battle, to clarify I am a fan of both but I find some flaws in research primarily with how underpowered thor was for this. First wonderwomen they used the most powerful versions of her including her “super version” and her atom splitting sword. Thor has his worst form of “super form” used. Thunder god thor gains full control of his enhanced form later on and when using stormbreaker (not just mcu) gains the piercing bonus vs Wonder Woman. As for strength feat the primary Wonder Woman feat used was alongside Superman and Shazam. This doesn’t mean they were carrying the same amounts thus dividing the feat by three makes no sense here especially when previously stated that Superman’s strength potential is limitless. (To see what I mean here) let’s refer to when most of the justice league tried to pull flash back from the speed force, Batman helped here. That doesn’t mean Batman pulled equally to Superman. Durability wise thor tops off hard. His regen is much faster and stronger than WWs. In comics and movies Wonder Woman has required at minimum several minutes to recover from blows that are mortal whereas thor has straight up ignored them. (Mcu hela stabs him multiple times, dceu Wonder Woman gets shot and heals it later) obviously those are just cinematic examples and these characters are much stronger in the comics but that’s just one example. My point here is they undermined thor and heavily overestimated Wonder Woman, not to mention her sword wouldn’t fully kill thor especially in just one stab seen in the battle. (I know the battle is just for animation but it’s a fair thing to address)

There are versions of Thor that can beat WW and vice verse but the research was very unbalanced there are a lot examples but the two that stuck in my mind: *Doesn't mention Thor's true ultimate attack the "god blast" which ignores durability and can kill immortals which was mentioned in Thor vs Raiden but was omitted here. *That atom cutting feat was used by a different version of WW; IF you are gonna use composite characters do it for both sides... no mention of Rune king Thor, Nerco king Thor or heck arguably WWs most powerful version; gods wave WW?.

Fun fight but I can’t agree with the outcome. For one, you said that WW’s earth feat was superior to Thor lifting the Midgard Serpent, but that isn’t his greatest feat of strength. He once knocked the earth out of orbit during an arm wrestling match with Hercules, in which he came to a draw. This would be 1/2 the Earth’s weight vs WW’s 1/3, all while using a single arm. And this isn’t even accounting for Warrior’s Madness(x10), or his belt(x2). And even still, EVEN STILL, he wasn’t pushing against the planet. Just the nearby collision of his strength against Hercules’ was enough, so we know this isn’t even an accurate depiction of his immense strength Secondly you compared their combat speeds and claimed WW’s was superior. Thor has speed blitzed the likes of Silver Surfer, who can travel to distant galaxies within seconds at casual speed, react faster than Thanos while he wields the time stone, and time travels much like Zoom, so they should be about equal. Besides, you made WW’s feat deflecting lightspeed shards look as if it were instant. She clearly held a conversation at normal speed while doing this, so clearly they did’t converge on her position at the same time. Thirdly, you say Thor can’t exploit WW’s weakness to piercing weapons. However, Mjolnir isn’t his only weapon. He is the canonical possessor of both Jarnbjorn, an axe that cuts Celestial armor, and the Odinsword, a sword that cuts through dimensions. You even included Jarnbjorn in Thor’s description so that should have been a factor Fourthly, you actually nerfed Thor’s travel speed. I know, it’s already pretty ridiculous, right? But here’s the thing, when he threw Mjolnir there was also a return trip. That value of yours should have been doubled. But even still, that’s not his top speed. Thor has stated that he would be able to fly to the end of the universe in only a few seconds. I got curious and decided to do some math. A “few seconds” means within a minute, so let’s say he did this in sixty seconds. We can observe up to 46.5 billion light years outwards into space. To cover this in a minute requires a speed of 24,440,400,000,000,000 mph, or 36,444,667.4048 times faster than light. His Godblast can send Galactus, a being who tanked the combined blast of the universe’s most powerful beings, including the Living Tribunal, fleeing for his life. He has psychic powers strong enough to instantly wipe minds. And like his father, he can summon the nigh-indestructible Destroyer armor. There are numerous powers he refers to when all else fails, and you didn’t include any of them

That was immeasurable energy, the power of so many gods combined including that of a Skyfather like Zeus. Even without her bracelets Wonder Woman literally tanked a universe exploding tenfold inside her body. Her sword would be a challenge for thor as it can cut and damage darkseid. She is on par with thor in speed she beat Hermes the god of speed in a race. She moved 52 quintillion times the speed of light while blocking billions of god shards coming from every corner of the universe and the dc universe is two hundred trillion light years wide this is a minimum estimate. She can keep up with the flash going at normal speed. Her lasso wrapped around the sun proving her lasso can wrap around celestial objects like the sun. The lasso has no limits to is strength or length. What I’m saying is that thor and wonder women are both inconsistent wonder women was defeated by a bullet and so was thor I think wonder women is skilled enough to beat thor but thor is skilled with mjolnir so just respect wonder women

Well Marvel has the characters to contend with DC, but they aren't the main ones. It's mainly because DC characters are Gods living with Man trying to navigate human life while being able to break everything. And Marvel is about humans who are trying to deal with being a hero and the responsibility that comes with it.
The most iconic characters from both publishers (in my opinion) sum it up, Superman can break the world but puts mental blocks to keep his full power away since he didn't want to be a hero. While Spider Man comics literally coined the famous quote "With great power comes great responsibility"

I haven’t watched it yet and I don’t remember much about this one other than the fact her new movie was coming out around this time which I thought might have swayed it. That being said I always figured DC had the more op heroes because everyone gets scaled to Superman through some interaction they had across different comics and the way the saying goes from previous death battles was “dc has the strongest heroes but marvel has the strongest humans”. I’m struggling to think of the marvel equivalent to Superman but marvel does have a fair share of overpowered enemies to overcome, just not like the man of steel.

He’d certainly handle her better nowadays then he would a few years back but one mustn’t forget Wonder Woman has faced the likes of Superman, Doomsday, Professor Zoom, and Darkseid and lived to tell about it. Hell, she’s even beaten some of these characters on more than one occasion. All of them can easily be compared to Thor, as well as surpass him (i.e. Superman and Darkseid). Also, her weaponry would still prove to be deadly to Thor. Especially her signature sword. I would say more times than not, Wonder Woman can still bag a victory against Thor. The best Thor can do would be to fight Wonder Woman to a standstill. But, even I can say Thor is capable of defeating Wonder Woman, just not quite as easily as one may think.

I think the reason was due to the fact that Marvel and DC were competing intensely back in the 60's through late 80's early 90's, and tried making their superheroes stand out from the competition. Like they had a type of "'Cold War" on who had the superior superheroes. Which is why I believe their powers got ridiculously op. Of course this is just my own personal theory. Just sayin'.

This fight was horribly researched. Planetary Thor and Wonder Woman? Like okay, let's ignore Wonder Woman one shoting a blood lusted Wally West, her constant scaling to Superman, being comparable to Darkseid, breaking into the Speed Force, Etc. Let's also ignore Thor pushing back Yggdrasil, his consistent scaling to the likes of Galactus, Bringing Odin to his knees, two weaker Thors clashing creating energy that shook the universe and was felt across all planes of existence, Thor resisting and physically overpowering infinite gravity, etc. I can see why both sides call bs on this battle. And the latest Wonder Woman match is further proof of this. At least Rune King Thor and Witch Maker Wonder Woman were left untouched.
As for who I think wins, I do think it can go either way tbh. Though I do like Thor more, I don't deny Wonder Woman has some pretty good feats and Scaling. Feel free to reply and leave your replies down below. I'm interested to see what y'all think.

Also Also, Wonder Woman, Superman, and Captain Marvel together lifted the Tome of Infinite Pages, that too was Post-Crisis, and the comic said they were equally contributing. The Tome of Infinite Pages has the weight of Marvel's Multiversal Eternity (its DC equivalent I mean). It is only limited through not including the Anti-Matter Multiverse, The Dark Multiverse, and the Outerversal Vertigo existence. This is established through the limits of the Positive Multiverse for the first two, and Lucifer destroying the Tome with his Heavenly Fire, and Lucifer's fire not being able to destroy Outerversal entities, only his Warping via the Will of God can do that.

@Bully Maguire reread the comic. she and him were evenly matched for MOST OF THE FIGHT until he lost the hammer, and afterwards she’s shown carrying him…his eyes are closed and he’s not struggling even though she hasn’t been able to explain herself yet. what other conclusion am i supposed to draw than he’s knocked out?
Here’s the beef I have with this battle, to clarify I am a fan of both but I find some flaws in research primarily with how underpowered thor was for this.
First wonderwomen they used the most powerful versions of her including her “super version” and her atom splitting sword. Thor has his worst form of “super form” used. Thunder god thor gains full control of his enhanced form later on and when using stormbreaker (not just mcu) gains the piercing bonus vs Wonder Woman.
As for strength feat the primary Wonder Woman feat used was alongside Superman and Shazam. This doesn’t mean they were carrying the same amounts thus dividing the feat by three makes no sense here especially when previously stated that Superman’s strength potential is limitless. (To see what I mean here) let’s refer to when most of the justice league tried to pull flash back from the speed force, Batman helped here. That doesn’t mean Batman pulled equally to Superman.
Durability wise thor tops off hard. His regen is much faster and stronger than WWs. In comics and movies Wonder Woman has required at minimum several minutes to recover from blows that are mortal whereas thor has straight up ignored them. (Mcu hela stabs him multiple times, dceu Wonder Woman gets shot and heals it later) obviously those are just cinematic examples and these characters are much stronger in the comics but that’s just one example.
My point here is they undermined thor and heavily overestimated Wonder Woman, not to mention her sword wouldn’t fully kill thor especially in just one stab seen in the battle. (I know the battle is just for animation but it’s a fair thing to address)

The 3D animation was pretty good but research was iffy, like I don't get it who came up with the scenario?.
There are versions of Thor that can beat WW and vice verse but the research was very unbalanced there are a lot examples but the two that stuck in my mind:
*Doesn't mention Thor's true ultimate attack the "god blast" which ignores durability and can kill immortals which was mentioned in Thor vs Raiden but was omitted here.
*That atom cutting feat was used by a different version of WW; IF you are gonna use composite characters do it for both sides... no mention of Rune king Thor, Nerco king Thor or heck arguably WWs most powerful version; gods wave WW?.

Fun fight but I can’t agree with the outcome.
For one, you said that WW’s earth feat was superior to Thor lifting the Midgard Serpent, but that isn’t his greatest feat of strength. He once knocked the earth out of orbit during an arm wrestling match with Hercules, in which he came to a draw. This would be 1/2 the Earth’s weight vs WW’s 1/3, all while using a single arm. And this isn’t even accounting for Warrior’s Madness(x10), or his belt(x2). And even still, EVEN STILL, he wasn’t pushing against the planet. Just the nearby collision of his strength against Hercules’ was enough, so we know this isn’t even an accurate depiction of his immense strength
Secondly you compared their combat speeds and claimed WW’s was superior. Thor has speed blitzed the likes of Silver Surfer, who can travel to distant galaxies within seconds at casual speed, react faster than Thanos while he wields the time stone, and time travels much like Zoom, so they should be about equal. Besides, you made WW’s feat deflecting lightspeed shards look as if it were instant. She clearly held a conversation at normal speed while doing this, so clearly they did’t converge on her position at the same time.
Thirdly, you say Thor can’t exploit WW’s weakness to piercing weapons. However, Mjolnir isn’t his only weapon. He is the canonical possessor of both Jarnbjorn, an axe that cuts Celestial armor, and the Odinsword, a sword that cuts through dimensions. You even included Jarnbjorn in Thor’s description so that should have been a factor
Fourthly, you actually nerfed Thor’s travel speed. I know, it’s already pretty ridiculous, right? But here’s the thing, when he threw Mjolnir there was also a return trip. That value of yours should have been doubled. But even still, that’s not his top speed. Thor has stated that he would be able to fly to the end of the universe in only a few seconds. I got curious and decided to do some math. A “few seconds” means within a minute, so let’s say he did this in sixty seconds. We can observe up to 46.5 billion light years outwards into space. To cover this in a minute requires a speed of 24,440,400,000,000,000 mph, or 36,444,667.4048 times faster than light. Considering that he was likely referring to less time, and that we still haven’t found the outer reaches of space, in truth he is likely vastly faster than this at his max
And fifth, throughout Thor’s history, he has demonstrated multiple trump cards, none of which you mentioned. He can summon the winds of 1000 planets. His Godblast can send Galactus, a being who tanked the combined blast of the universe’s most powerful beings, including the Living Tribunal, fleeing for his life. He has psychic powers strong enough to instantly wipe minds. And like his father, he can summon the nigh-indestructible Destroyer armor. There are numerous powers he refers to when all else fails, and you didn’t include any of them

wonder women has enough power to beat superman and has on occasions and she fought 2 kryptonions at the same time Zod and faora who are in Superman’s level. In hand to hand combat wonder women wins she defeated marvels Hercules in a crossover and he defeated thor in hand to hand combat. And I know thor hits hard but wonder women took a hit from reverse flash’s infinite mass punch which can send you back in time she also ranked darkseids omega beams and took punches from kryptonions and Superman can lift a book with infinite pages making his strength infinite. What about mjolnir or stormbreaker well her bracelets can pretty much block any attack physical attack, energy, or magic her bracelet took darkseid omega beams. And thors lighting isn’t a challenge for her it may startle her at first but she’s tanked nekrons lighting and nekron is a very powerful cosmic enemy. But what about godblast Wonder Woman was able to tank and repel the combined energy of all the Olympian gods including Zeus. a power almost comparable to the Godwave. That was immeasurable energy, the power of so many gods combined including that of a Skyfather like Zeus. Even without her bracelets Wonder Woman literally tanked a universe exploding tenfold inside her body. Her sword would be a challenge for thor as it can cut and damage darkseid. She is on par with thor in speed she beat Hermes the god of speed in a race. She moved 52 quintillion times the speed of light while blocking billions of god shards coming from every corner of the universe and the dc universe is two hundred trillion light years wide this is a minimum estimate. She can keep up with the flash going at normal speed. Her lasso wrapped around the sun proving her lasso can wrap around celestial objects like the sun. The lasso has no limits to is strength or length. What I’m saying is that thor and wonder women are both inconsistent wonder women was defeated by a bullet and so was thor I think wonder women is skilled enough to beat thor but thor is skilled with mjolnir so just respect wonder women
