I'm not the first to ask for it, but having some smaller Twin Grips for Everyday Carry would be amazing. I have the 180's in both grips, but would love a 150 or 145 size that's more pocket-friendly.
+1 👍🏽
As an aviation mechanic I use your product every day. Your quality and designs are outstanding. Thank you so much.
I was waiting for the metric forged strippers like a lot of people, but very sad to see there are no threaded screw cutters, similar to the imperial 6-32 and 8-32. Hope to see these added in an update one day as 3.5mm and 4mm are very commonly used in the uk
Was just about to write the same thing.
Looking forward to seeing that X-18 backpack and the new needle-nose combination pliers. Great presentation!
👍
i love knipex pliers great tools i can't wait to see what new is coming out
Nice tools, I already have the 145mm needle nose combi pliers and is one of my favorites. The forged wire stripper in this metric version does not have the screw cutting holes like the imperial one. For 3 and 4 mm screws would be great. And a smaller twingrip xs version to complete my xs tool pouch. 👍👍👍
I love Knipex
Short summary:
1. Absolutely new backpack.
2. Robust 26 move = B&W toolcase JUMBO 6600.
3. Electric vehicles set - nothing new, one more case set.
4. Needle-Nose Combination Pliers 08 26 145 have grown to 185mm.
5. Forged Wire Stripper added VDE grips and plated chrome. While chromed, screw cutting holes was removed🫢.
The most funny could be after 2:22 but unfortunately the plan was cut off 🤣
And anyway… Knipex am besten Werkzeug!❤️
I'm surprised I was not the only one realizing that Robust 26 Move was the Jumbo 6600 from B&W. I use their type 6700 non JUMBO with the laptop and pocket attachment on the lid and their divider system on the bottom.
Them all my measuring equipment, plus tools go inside each divider in their own pouch/transport cases (Wera, Fluke, Knipex, etc).
They are good cases, at the level of Peli/Pelican offerings without the Peli/Pelican price.
The forged wire strippers are absolute dynamite. Love them.
Looks like the needle nose combo pliers are taking a play out of the Leatherman playbook. No doubt much stronger and more capable especially with the high leverage pivot
If youre talking about Leatherman multitool then this is an absurd claim. As if the Wera Koloss will be replacing hammers and ratchets altogether.
@@inq752 I’m not claiming anything will replace anything else.
I’m just stating the plier design is very similar to what Leatherman popularized with a needle nose section, open round section and wire cutting section.
The 'three points-of-contact' is a brilliant innovation. I love it in my small needle nose combination pliers.
👍
I still have no idea what they're talking about with the convex / three points of contact thing. Can you elaborate?
@@danstheman33 I think it’s:
Get a normal pair of needle nose pliers. Try and hold something long and thin like a round metal rod that’s facing the same direction as the pliers. The pliers will be touching two points on the item. It will easily rotate sideways.
The three point design adds a bump to the pliers. There’s a part sticking out on one side and a matching concave hole on the other side.
When you hold something long and thin, the part of the tool sticking out contacts the item, and on the other side two points of the pliers touch your item.
It doesn’t rotate very easily.
Love the look and layout of the backpack. Looking forward to all the new stuff.

Can't beat my 13 02 160 Electricians' Pliers!
Only two hand tools? 🙄
Twin grip in 150 mm with Cobra XS and Pliers wrench XS would be in every EDC kit.
Please start a buy 3 get one free promotion. Thank you Knipex. Your the best and it shows.
@@htr5372 Did your therapist teach you that word? Following me around YT is creepy bro. Looks like you should book another appointment.
Excited to see the new tools!
Świetna ta walizka z narzędziami.
How about the Twin Grip in a smaller size and needle nose. And maybe in a really large size, like 400mm, with jaws like wolf jaw tongs.
Ah that's cool, hurry up with the pocket version of the twingrips already
The needle-nose combination is legendary. Right up there with cobra and pliers wrench as a MUST-HAVE knipex pliers. Most people have leathermans as their edc pliers, this one's in the same style but 100x better.
Great Tools; very good update by Britta, Bradi & Nico
감사해요 ! 😄
My list for pliers and Knipex products is growing instead of getting smaller 🤣😂
I sooooo love a high quality tool that actually does what it says it does thank you for what you do
Great quality tools designed for use... Thanks Knipex for your effort!
Can you name any specific cutting edge innovations regarding pliers from other brands?
Hi there! Great feedback, we really appreciate it. Everyone has his preferences, and that's totally fine!
Kind regards from Germany
Forged Wire Strippers are the best… I’ve had many people ask me about an Insulated AWG version.
Your tools have been a staple on my family's farm for years. Especially the cobra water pump pliers. I think we have every size offered. Looking forward to buying a pair of the nippers and those wire strippers in the future.
Hi there, wow that's so cool! Thanks a lot! Let us know what you think about our new products once you've tried them out!!
Kind regards
I use an English proverb...I'm not rich enough to buy cheap things.👌👍
180 needle/combo! yeah baby🎉
I’d also appreciate crimping jaw on the new forged wire strippers… in central europe, we should use ferrules for alemost every instalation with stranded wire (i think it’s because of our CYSY cables, which are made with wery thin wires).
Loved my Knipex tools . Used to work them hard but still care for them .
Unfortunately had my tool store broken into and lost all my tools ( joys of Africa 🤦) .
Slowly building them up again...
Here a Canadian, currently in Mexico for a well deserved vacation
Bring back the sunshine, we just got hail in Ontario
That backpack looks very good.
Oh new things from Knipex 💪 greetings from Serbia 👋👋👋
No screw cutters?? Gutting . A 3.5 and a 4.0 would be great together with the spring system from the electrical installation pliers . Then that would be innovation!
Please bring an update knipex !!!
I love my installation pliers but I find myself needing to get other tools out to cut screws and twist cables in addition.
These in vde with a spring and screw cutters + a 200mm pair of diagonal cutters would be incredible!!!
And would complete most of my cable work without carrying too much.
Great Job!!!
Ive been waiting for those forged wire strippers for a loooong time, cant wait to get a pair!
Can't wait! 😄
Dudes flashlight got caught on the ladder cage at 2:22
Lol nice eye
Amazing Knipex! I want both pliers 😅
Ansioso pela sua revisão
@@jonathanavila2304 obrigado, em breve! 😃🤝
Oh man...I'm drooling over all the box and backpack. Will be a great way to store an carry my Knipex-ss 🤤🤤
I wouldn't say that Knipex strives for perfection.
They achieved it.
Your tools are a pleasure to use. They are well engineered. They are very durable. I use them and abuse them. I do maintenance/repair for our business AND we have a small farm. There is seldom a day that at least one Knipex tool does not spend time in my hands. They ARE expensive, but the time and frustration I have saved makes it more than worth it. Thank you for making my life easier.
Edit: YES. You have the combo pliers with the plain-dipped handles (I have a type I guess...) It will soon be time for a KC Tool order.
@@htr5372 No. Just bought the pliers wrench about 3 years ago and FINALLY discovered what I had been missing. I havent regretted a single knipex tool I have bought. The only other tools I have that come close are my golden-era american tools-which are getting hard to come by and after 50-80 years finally getting beat up.
There is great stuff coming out of japan and taiwan. Wiha, wera, hazet, starett, etc. make great stuff. Snap on is great but I prefer to keep at least one of my kidneys. Lots of people make great tools. But dollar-for-dollar (substitute your own exchange rate here) Knipex sets the bar REALLY high.
@@htr5372 I've personally seen zero. Now considering that it appears you have went up and down this comment section giving everyone the same copypasta troll crap, i'm going to ask who do you work for/who sponsors you? If you're going to claim that you don't- provide some details of those issues you have had. If you're going to troll, at least be helpful and informative.
I can only speak from personal experience-which has been flawless.
Edit: yup. went through your catalog. You review everything except knipex.
"Show me the incentive, and i'll show you the outcome"
ok, I will buy it
A little too late on the backpack release. I do have literally just about everything you make. So i will probably buy one but I already have a Veto Tech Pack Wheeler and you will have to pry it from my cold dead hands.
En espera de las novedades, excelentes herramientas.
Gracias por tu confianza en la marca, espero te gusten las novedades!
It would be nice if you enlarged the twin grips 1 inch longer, removed the screw extractor v, and replaced the jaws with cross hatch teeth. You would have in your line up, one of the best slip joint pliers on the market.
I'm excited to see what's new!
I will love to see this backpack in Bulgaria so I can bay it. I put it in good use for me every day knipex tools.
Quality tools a bit more expensive than other brands but u get what u pay for and for me worth the extra dough
楽しみです!!
Knipex are taking over the tool market for electricians in the UK. No one has had a bad thing to say about your brand and your tools are like no other. The only brand that comes close is Wera. Germany are #1 innovators and manufacturers!
Hi there, thank you very much for your kind words!
Have a great weekend!
Kind regards
I work on industrial sites that include Food Industry Sites which have high hygiene areas that have restrictions on what may be taken into these areas. Some sites have multiple high hygiene areas that build on one another. Is the Backpack Tool Bag able to be cleaned and kept clean so as not to bring on site any bacteria and viruses or dirt that is deemed to be a health risk? I carry out electrical safety inspections and consultancy services to my clients, so the types of tools and equipment I need on site changes depending on what I'm doing.
I love knipex but they should focus on the tools! Veto pro pac has them beat when it comes to the bags 💼
You folks should do a Collaboration with Veto Pro Pack , best tool bags I’ve ever worked with !
so do you have the forged wire stripper us model in vde now?
Iv just made my first Knipex purchase, the VDE electrical installation pliers.
I cant wait for them to arrive... I'm not even an electrician .
dam i just bought a backpack! anyway i need one that will take a laptop and tablet, as a lot of things need computer control
Massa!
Another backpack to miss the bus. Having organized hand tools is always good, but they missed the biggest issue. There should be another dedicated chamber for a battery run compact hammer drill, 1/4” impact, 2 batteries, and charger.
Almost 2024 unveil time
Tylko dwie sztuki szczypiec? Szkoda 🤔 Myślę że Twin grip o wymiarze 150 mm byłby w połączeniu z Cobra Xs i Szczypce-klucz Xs w każdym zestawie EDC
I love Knipex design performance, but after I bought 7-8 different pairs last year, I have to say that I’ve had pretty poor luck with the ones I use the most in blade hardness as well as accuracy of grind on a pair of the new twin grip pliers. And I’ve found at least 10 other pair in stores that have the same grind issue.
@@htr5372 ya I’ve had soft metal issues on jaw teeth and blades on a few pliers. I used a pair of flush trim pliers only for cutting 18 & 23 gauge brad nails, and it dented the blades pretty bad. And regardless of use I know it’s a quality issue because 100% of the denting is in 1 blade and not the other, so one is hardened just fine. Next time you see some new twin grips, look at the grand of the tip, every pair in 3 tool stores I’ve found are ground a few degrees out of square, and they’re not even all the same, some are 3° and some are 5°.
It’s sad because no other companies design engineering comes close imo.
When you say grind do you mean they don't line up when closed? There's a trick to locking it fully and it does snap parallel, if you don't click it fully home they naturally don't sit straight
@@dd5617 Hello DD, Are you using Twin Grip pliers and if so what is your thoughts ?
❤💛
Kleine Dampferzange für Kanthaldraht ohne Facette mit Drahtklemme braucht das Volk! 😉
Those combination pliers are dynomite, but they are missing the 6-32 & 8-32 screw cutters and to me the handle should be curved for a more ergonomic grip.I find the 'straight/flat' handle not very comfortable.
Knipex we've been asking for a smaller TwinGrip, when is that going to happen?
That last pliers is a drama :/ Give up the crimper in favor of larger wires? They don't really work as combos. And the pliers don't have the strength to tighten. It was a product with potential, but it was wasted 😿
Proud to say I have one of those butter-like electoral installing pliers. Things are great.. I can't stand companies like harbor freight in the United States that does nothing but copy incredible manufacturing such as Knipex and Snap On. Then they come on UA-cam and think that they're pliers because they look exactly the same are going to be the same quality. But yet the snap-on sell for $100 online you can get them for $12 at harbor freight and you're going to be back a dozen times to replace the warranty (at least they do warranty them things) but all that travel for warranty work if you went through snap-on originally it would never happen you would get your job finished and not need to go back and forth a dozen. However if that snap on brakes and you don't work at a shop you're really screwed because there is no warranty. Typically they're not going to break the snap-on pliers, unless you're abusing the hell out of them.
Wait snap on doesn’t have a warranty if you are a diy guy?
Also if harborfreight didn’t rip off the pliers wrench and cobras i would have never bought a pair of real Knipex. I enjoyed the harbor freight versions so I went and bought the real ones that are just better and smoother. However I didn’t like the 3 position pliers so I didn’t waste the money on a snap on but I am looking at the talon versions of them I think that’s what that tool needs in my use.
Where can i buy the wire stripper with electrical grip? Seem like only the regular and comfort grip is available.
I wanted an improvement on the Cutix, which has too many plastic parts that failed literally out of the box.
Just make every part aluminum. Ill pay the increased price
I just bought a lot of knipex tools, they are so good, wish what are coming are brand new functional tools and will not cover any usage of my stuff. 😅Really don't like those tech firms which update their products little by little on purpose every year.
Hi ArmoredMedusa装甲水母, thank you for your comment. Stay tuned! 😀👍
Best regards

Knipex are high quality but a mechanic does not need 25 pairs or pliers in one tool kit ! Wrenches and sockets with rackets would compliment your product line !
So sexy Knipex gear ❤
What is the product code for the last pliers in this video please?
Is the robust 26 move's internal compartment same as Robust45 Move?
Metal zippers and clasps please!
Knipex. We need a smaller Twin Grip.
What???!!!! Why no screw cutting holes like in 13 72 8 version?!
😍
A big update video for just two new pliers (and not really new, just new sizes of existing pliers) plus two new cases seems a bit excessive.. Don't get me wrong, I don't think they are obligated to pump out new products every year just for the sake of it, I think that's silly. But this seems like unnecessary fanfare..
Also I wonder why they eliminated the screw cutters from the metric wire strippers? I love that feature on my pair, that's one of the best things about it, so it seems like a strange feature to remove. I'm in the USA so I don't really care what happens with the metric version, I just hope they don't plan on eliminating that from the Imperial design as well.
I was hoping to see some comfort grip Raptors :(
Can we get a bigger set of Cobras? Maybe a 650 or 700?
please make knipex twin force VDE 1000V!!!!!!
PLEASE MAKE A MINI TWIN GRIP
Just after 2:00, please note unsafe situation with unprotected rebar protruding from blocks and broken wood section sticking upward.
Hi there, thank you for your feedback.

wäre cool wenn man das System von Wera ( bsp das Set Kraftform Kompakt W 2 Wartung, 35‑teilig
) vorne an den Rucksack kletten könnte.
What's the name of this song? As strong as your tools :)
It would be nice to see a 12-gauge and 14-gauge cable stripper, in a form similar to the forged wire strippers.
Huh? That already exists, the original version of the forged wire strippers is for AWG, and strips 12 and 14 gauge wires, both solid and stranded.
@@danstheman33 The Romex cable, the outer sheathing, not the wires themselves.
I had no idea that is how you said "Knipex." I have only heard it sounded as "Ka-nip-ex" or "Nip-ex." Would you mind phonetically typing it because it is still hard to hear in your cool accent. Thanks.
I wish they hadn’t chose a black background with low lighting to show off black products… I am getting older and don’t see as well as I used to. I certainly would like to see the products you are trying to show me
Hi there, thank you for your feedback. That really helps!
Kind regards
Nice kit. In English, with all due respect, we say ‘gas strut’ rather than ‘gas spring’.
I want a tool pouch / sleeve for the cobra 400mm and for the 400mm plier wrench.
Hi william, thank you for your question. Please tell us where you're from so we can give you the right customer service!
