I noticed the newer blade has more QC problems. Also the older gold seal you have uses harder mix metal ( more blue ) .

I agree that John Wilson quality has gone down over the years. It´s a pity when they are so popular.
May I ask if your opinion related to harder metal is based on visual judgement (color), measurements or something else?
