only real difference now is Rodgers used to be QB and well he's a hall of famer and those are the games Rodgers would win. Jordan Love also doesn't have a true #1 which might be the achilles heel instead of the great depth they have. Watson as your only deep threat who has proven can't stay healthy in his career isn't going to help Love develop. We need a great defense or Love needs a true #1 and use our tight ends more.

As a packers fan I thought they shouldve never been ranked above the lions or vikings. That's on colin. The Packers are what they are, not favorites but can be really dangerous in the playoffs especially after getting Jaire, evan William's and christian watson back in the playoffs

    "AH NO!!! WE SUCK AGAIN!"
IMO we're not ready. Things we should shoot for next year:
    -Improved pass rush without blitzing
-Embrace the shorter/quicker pass game sooner in games. This is much easier with a speed guy in there to spread defenders, but its still possible with their crew sans-Watson.
-It pains me to say - But let Jaire go and get two new young CBs that are 80% as good and coachable - build them to 90% if possible. Hes just not worth it with all the time missed. This will give you depth with Kiesean/Valentine and fit great with Safety room. And I am a huge Jaire fan.
I really feel thats all they need and they are so close!
Took Rodgers and crew 3 years.
Took Favre and crew 4 years.

This somewhat reminds me of the 3rd year of Rodgers starting in GB in 2010. The 09 Packers with Rodgers actually played well that year & lost a heartbreaker because of a crucial QB turnover in the playoffs just like last year's Packers did. The next year, they again finished with a low seed & everyone wrote them off basically. It'll be up to GB this year to change that like the 2010 Packers with Rodgers did

It’s definitely not just Lafleur, but it is also Lafleur. It seems to bleed from him into the rest of the team - that when it comes to these big games, against quality opponents, there is this frantic, overly-jacked, unsettled vibe with this team. And they do not settle quickly. All of a sudden when the lights are bright they go back to sloppy play, mistakes and highly questionable decision making and play calling. The fumble, the 4th down decision, costly penalties, 3rd and 5 and throwing it 40-50 yards to no one. Hope they can get it settled quickly. They can be better than this, we know that.

The Packers look far worse than I expected. Even with the missed FGs, it should have been a 3 score game. The Vikings should have kept their foot on the gas, instead they went to their "prevent" defense and started playing man. Every time they do this, teams get back into it, which still wouldn't have happened without Darnold throwing that INT. I am still hoping to not see them in the playoffs...
Finally, you can't make this stuff up...Whenever the Vikings beat a "good team" the narrative is always "I guess that team wasn't as good as I thought." I swear we are the only 14-2 team in NFL history to never beat a good team...If the Vikings win the SB, they will have to put a disclaimer that it only happened because there weren't any good teams in the NFL...

This is chess, it’s not checkers…. Winning that came had less than a 3% chance to improve our playoff seed/standings & losing has a less than 3% chance for us to fall back in our seed.. we are, pretty much, a lock for the 5 seed.
We played popcorn football, testing things, putting things on film, that was practice for us…
We didn’t need to win & doing our darndest to win, only shows our hand for an inevitable match up in the post season… don’t get your undies all bunched up here…

The vikes lose to Detroit and sixth seed is your best hope. You will likely fall to 7th and face the Eagles

Either way, we are on the road the whole playoffs, which, was 99% chance our fate anyway… so, again, winning that game didn’t, really, do much for us. Not to say that we didn’t want to win, but it’s more valuable to not put anything of significance on film in the weeks leading up to the post season rather than putting it all out there to win a game that isn’t likely to chance your fate..this is how chess is played, checkers is played with less thought & intent…

Should have just said GB is not good. The Commanders took the 6th spot. GB is soft, just like thier coach.

Matt is playing possum to get teams off their gaurd for the playoffs. The only thing that went wrong was blocking the Bears' field goal. Only fly in the ointment of Matt's plan. 3-D chess, man. 3-D chess. 🤫

4:24 I hate to say it but sometimes it is the coaching choices..a couple of run plays that shouldn't have been called and Jordan holding on to the ball way too long..he is not Rodgers, will never be ,get rid of the freaking ball..or freaking run..bad all of the way around..Jeff Hayley is bogus..I hope we get rid of Alexander and Watson go out in free agency next year and get an edge rusher..a Garrett or someone..f#%$$!!

Packers can’t beat a top tear team. They beat them selves. Still to young and make to many mistakes. I love the packers but they might not even make it past the first round now.

I think the Packers have been a huge disappointment this year and the coach sucks I was a packer fan but lafluer is ruining these games and maybe they will never win a Superbowl again cause they will lose in the playoffs there first game and I think they were better last year all the dropped passes from wicks. The Packers are done this year

This is a weak take. The vikings are 14-2 you need to relax. You can say it wasn't a 2 point game all you want but if they hold at the end there on 3rd and short they have almost 2 full minutes no timeouts to get a fg so

@ the packers can beat up on bad teams, but are 0-5 against contenders (swept by both Vikings and lions, lost to eagles). Thats exactly what cowboys were too. Also same record as cowboys
