The feature I use the most is Apple Pay. Much more convenient than pulling out the phone to pay.
Dude, why do you act like taking a phone out of your pocket takes a lot of effort. And it's not like you have to pay at the cash register a hundred times a day

I got my first Apple Watch (a Nike Series 7) just after the Series 8 and original Ultra were released. I live 15 minutes from an Apple Store, so was able to try all the sizes and colours. Had originally thought I’d prefer a darker colour, but ended up going with the Starlight. Like you, I use the Watch for sleep tracking, so the fast charging is really useful.

Upgraded from the SE to Series 9 a few months back. Really pleased with it. Like you also wear for sleep tracking and charge for 30 mins every morning. Battery lasts until the next morning.
The Apple Watch 9 is my first Apple Watch I love mine but I don’t have anything to compare it to I’ve had no problems with it at all

for the gesture issue when using podcast, i think it can be addressed by triggering the gesture in "now playing"

I got my first Apple Watch which is a series 9 three months ago and although I was thinking of getting the sapphire crystal version I opted for the basic ion x glass as it’s cheaper, I’ve got a screen protector case on it and have insurance through Apple Care 😊

Target is current having a sale on the series 9’s. If you are able to I recommend buying it from there.
The se and the aluminium series 9 does not have the sapphire display and therefore scratches a lot easier. I’ve got the graphite series 9 and me too. Don’t have no scratches on it at all and I have slammed it around.! so don’t buy the series 9 aluminium thinking that it scratch resistant because it isn’t!;)

I want a smart watch just for monitoring my heart rate while asleep. Is it worth it to buy apple watch? Or is there other brand that can do better for cheaper price?
There are other brands that are cheaper, however, the series 9 does do blood oxygen which is nice.

In accessibility settings yes, but according to Apple they needed the latest chip to make it work more reliably and once it did they added it in as a main feature.
It’s not all that because I can still do all that with the SE

You can’t watch UA-cam because there’s no UA-cam apps.
But there’s something called Watchtube which shows UA-cam videos and it actually plays the audio threw the watch speaker
