Between the Limitless 4.0 and Rebel Series 2, we’d go with the Limitless 4.0. It handles better than the Series 2 and has better accessories BUT the new Limitless 4.0 is quite pricey when compared to the Phone Rebel Series 2 (and the Rebel comes with a screen protector).
The lower price and screen protector do not offset how slick and thick the Rebel Series 2 case feels in our hands. We feel way more comfortable with the Limitless 4.0 on a daily basis since it doesn’t slip out of our hands as much.
Now it’s a different story between the Crystal Series 2 and the Mous Infinity. The Infinity is more of a copycat case of Apple’s clear case so it handles like a wet bar of soap. Now the clear case has a nice clean aesthetic when compared to the Crystal Series 2 BUT both are fingerprint magnets. If you’ve already invested heavily into a bunch of MagSafe accessories, it might be worth getting the Infinity.
The Catalyst Total Protection case for the AirPod Pro’s is a beast. Waterproof up to 100m. Seriously, if any of you decide to bring your AirPod Pro’s to that depth, let us know. This has been my goto case for the last few months because I don’t have to worry about my AirPod Pro’s.
The Diamond Dog screen protector. Throughout our testing period, we only noticed one difference between normal screen protectors and this supposed better screen protector which involves cracking after a screen protector gets chipped. Most screen protectors break clean but the Diamond Dog didn’t. Other than that, it’s an average product.
Pitaka MagEz case and SwitchEasy Coverbuddy cases for the iPad Pro. Neat ideas but despite being incredibly thin, don’t let your iPad Pro sit flush in the Magic Keyboard or the Smart Cover. So…./facepalm

I’m glad that you said that you preferred the Mous as that’s what I had gotten on your recommendation when I got my new iPhone 12 Pro Max. I did get the flip wallet but one seam started peeling. As I am not commuting so I have less wear & tear than normal so that’s not great.

That Moft wallet paired with the rhinoshield crashguard nx is a great combo. If that case was grippier it would be the perfect all around set up. Also the Ridge Card Case is the best leather wallet case I found for the iPhone 12 Pro. Better than the Mujjo case.

I have a anti reflective screen protector on my 13, it’s so far pretty good.
It makes the display less awesome, but it’s not as reflective. It’s kind of Matte, and Fingerprint oils are reduced 🤓

Great video as always. The only thing i don`t like with the limitless 4.0 is the upper edge where the speaker is. It`s too sharp and it is very uncomfortable to my ear durring conversation.Regards from Bulgaria.

I have both the Mous 4.0 and the Gen 2 Rebel. I prefer the Rebel. Everything Apple Pro did his 50' drop test. The Mous didn't fare well. I know, most people don't drop their phones close to that far. Still, it was interesting. Love your channel!
I wonder if the phone rebel drop test from 50 feet was honest? Most people drop their phone cases from 4ft. The good thing is the price and indestructible screen protector with the rebel cases. Noel and also the style
@@noelsetterington648 I think so. He's been doing them for some time. Like you say, most drops are from 3-4 ft. I do like his cases though and I like the Mous 3.0. I usually get either the leather or whatever material the black speckled one is made of. The others feel too slippery.
I saw a youtube video with a mous bamboo version were it was dropped from a 1000 ft and the phone was totally undamaged and the case had minimal damage. And it wasn't mous doing the video. Lets face it they are both as good as each other concerning protection amen
@@noelsetterington648 late response, but I share your concern. I would hope that would be the case(no pun intended), but considering that these cases are huge competitors, I don't think EAP would share if the Mous held up better than the Rebel. I would have liked to see multiple attempts at drop tests for both of those cases, doesn't matter who it is buy. Obviously, the wind can have a large impact on how it lands, and I would have been curious to see how both would fair at different angles of landing (screen down, screen up, spin, corner, etc), or at least just multiple trials. That being said, multiple trials subject multiple phones to breaking, but I believe that a test from a lower height (maybe 10 feet?) would mitigate this.
@@loganjackson9559 Amen. I dont think there is much in it. I saw a you tube video where they dropped a iphone from a 1000 feet in a mous bamboo case and there was no damage. And it wasn't mous doing the trial. God bless you

You should review the Dbrand Grip Case. Also when trying to find out where the magnets are, you can also use a magnetic sheet that shows you the location of the magnets

i have both a rebel case 1 and a mous 3.0. both are great cases but the feel of the rebel is beautiful. Now with the Mous 4.0 being like $65 it’s not cheap at all and the rebel case is just the smart option. Mous has gotten WAYYY too expensive

I find it funny that the iPhone 12 in a Apple case survived the 50ft concrete test but the Mous case didnt. Atleast Apple doesnt do false advertising like Mous do, with their «crazy good drop protection».
I had a case on my iPhone 7 without a microfiber back for about two years. The matte finish ended up with gloss black marks similar to the pattern inside the case on the back of my phone. Never again am I getting a case without microfiber again

Picked up the Limitless 4.0 using your code after watching your cases comparison video and this. I’ve had an otter box defender for every iphone I’ve had since 2014, and finally converted to a slimmer case after getting tired of the decaying rubber.
Hoping they add a MagSafe charging car mount of sorts, would buy in a heartbeat.

The phonerebel cases just gets the details right. It makes the bottom edges less raised and make swiping so much smoother.
It’s always been a pain for me when using other cases.

Can you do a review of the MagBak iPhone case. I am currently rocking the Mous 2.0 on my XR after watching your review. I live the case. I’ve dropped my phone plenty of times and it sustained no damage. My only gripe is that the magnets on the back aren’t that strong. I’ve seen the MagBak videos, but the reviewers never do real world drop test like you do.
From what I remember your go-to AirPods Pro case was Nomad’s case. What happened between now and then, is RhinoShield’s case even better?

I'm really happy that Filip's phone rebel cases have tested well. It sounds like he's put a lot of work in them, unlike the Later case which merely uses existing designs and molds and rebrands products (this seems to be the case anyway). Hopefully he does give you a discount code...that would be outstanding.

Is the phone rebel series gen 3 or the Flex series the in the top 5 phone cases would be my question and are they much different from the series 2.
One part that was left out about the Phone Rebel case is that the MagSafe is so much stronger, 30% is what it’s said to be and I can admit that is true, I really have to try get even my Apple leather wallet off the back of my phone rebel case
