Old phone can be used for basic purposes. I use old phone to get less distracted and just keep the necessary apps like forest and timer. In the morning I need to use forest app to focus but don't want to get distracted, so have installed it in old phone. (No one calls me except for parents so sim is no issue)

I use my old phone to intercept app traffic. It needs to be rooted so, I used my old phone where I rooted it, added custom certificate as trusted so that apps can trust, then run a server local server which connects via USB.
It does my job. It's pain in the ass to do these things Everytime on a new VM

If a phone is 2-3 yrs old, then its battery is damaged ? Bruh, my phone is 5yrs old. Brought it when I entered engineering, still works like a charm. Runs on latest Android version. Easily gives a whole day of battery, considering the fact that I played PUBG intensively on this phone with charging cable always up its port 😂.
