Thanks Paul! I'm glad you appreciated the VU meters, I think i'm a bit obsessed with them :-) I do like the idea of a Neelix cam but, no, it was me filming that.... and no, I didn't crawl lol
@@pauljackson6168 When I got the email notification for your comment, it gave me a truncated preview of your message, I just saw the words "Neelix Roller Skates". Stop giving me ideas! I can just envision 4 tiddly roller skates. I can also envision Neelix stumbling across the garden with legs flying everywhere lol (I've got a vivid imagination in case you havent noticed)
@MsMadLemon Lol! 🤣 With that information, I'm going to have to craft all future comments for maximum effect. You're most welcome for the ideas, and I look forward to the next music video even more now!
Whoa, an Akai rack sampler and a DX7 to go with your TX7! That's a lovely wooden rack as well. This track has such a lovely atmosphere and vibe. Thank you
I spy a few new music making toys in there! (S950!) I'm glad you have the time to work with these classics - they still are worthy and still sound good, even if they are a bit dated. And you know I'm a sucker for a good FM Bassline... People listening on laptops or whatever will lose the depth (and I know I've been criticized for that in the past) but oh-well. Sounds good on my reference headphones (Beyerdynamic DT990's) and can't wait to have the time to put it into my studio monitors later.
Thanks Chris. Honestly, I am looking for the 70s/80s early 90s sound. So what better than to use something of the time period, so probably a good thing they're dated :-). As you say they're worthy and still sound good. I hope you're doing well.
I enjoyed this. It reminds me of the intersection between retro computers and synths that I collect. But instead of a DX7 and a SY77, I have a TX7 and a TG-33
i think i'm feelin the name of the track more than the track it-self .... and .... . let's just say I truly admire your strength :) hope to see you again soon
The best music in my experience comes from when we need to heal. This is lovely Madi.
Love the video, Maddi, so many gorgeous VU meters!
I'm imagining those low to the ground shots were all produced with NeelixCam. 😺

@MsMadLemon Ahah, well, it was either NelixCam or a GoPro strapped to your roller skates. 😂

Very nice, Maddi! It always makes me happy seeing somebody playing an original DX7. As long as I don't have to lift it. 😉
