Imagine it’s December. You get into your car to go to work, and turn on the radio. Suddenly Vulfpeck’s Christmas in LA comes on. How amazing would that be?
Vulfpeck is the first band I've come across with such a clean sound when they're playing live. Absolutely incredible, what a gang of talented musicians/songwriters/technicians
I was at this show! I'm so sad the cameras didn't happen to catch Thile losing his mind and jumping up and down at Theo's highest notes. That alone was worth the price of admission.
Theo MY MAN, I'm so glad he broke it down, and even throwing in a quick instruction to raise audience mics for us folks at home with headphones and by god I thank you. That sounded AMAZING. That crowd 3 part harmony always gets me
I absolutely lost my mind when this song was performed-not only with the utmost class and skill, but with incredible virtuosic improvisation. This band is so stinkin' awesome
Where do I submit this for consideration to the Christmas Music Industry? Does Vulfpeck need to win a cage match with Mariah Carey or WHAM to be considered?
I found this tune in a Spotify "Christmas funk" playlist. What a find! 🤩 I love their energy!! The music is so uplifting and catchy too! 🎶 Definitely becoming one of my personal perpetual annual rotation Christmas songs! 😄😄
I was just thinking about this song and its place in the Christmas Song Rotation the other day. Walked into a Starbucks and heard it over the speakers. :)))
@@TheFrkfrk pretty sure he knew! the fender rhodes was having some sound problems, you could hear some distortion at the beginning, and on another song with joey on the rhodes, he stopped playing after the first few bars because it was making loud noises

It ceased being Prairie Home Companion when Garrison Keillor retired. Chris Thile & Co. have continued the show format with their own twist over the past two years.
Actually, it was still called Prairie Home Companion for a while after Chris took over. After the allegations of sexual misconduct from Garrison Keillor, the public radio network wanted to everything to get away from him.

Just pass that aux bruv
I just walked into my local grocery store and heard it…. Kinda surreal
That would be amazing because I don't listen to the radio. Rather than sit and wait for that, I'll just find a way to get it in my car anyhow.
It’s a year round song for me
The only shame is not being in LA
The shirts.
They're multiplying.
Cory's has his guitar on it too! ha

im pretty sure they record the full band at the same time on their album, like they used too do back in the day with bands in studios.
Theo is a beastly singer!

They did, he's jumping in the background at 3:20

I'd pay to see that by itself tbh

I love Theo's wierd drum-fills but Jack's minimal crisp beat sounds so nice on this tune as well
They're both amazing drummers. Very different but so crisp and punchy!.
I love how much they engage the crowd
Heard this song at work today! I got so stoked!!! Congratulations on making the starbucks playlists hehe
Christmas in LA played in NYC during Santacon!
This is the Christmas song they needed in Australia really.
I’m not gay, but Theo Katz does something to me
I was shopping at Marshals the other day and this came on! I was like 'Woah! Vulfpeck made it onto the industry Christmas playlist!'
Just the best tune.
Awesome!
Most awesome!
Fuggin’ awesome!
Joey killing on keys!
That's Woody on the keys for this one
paorabailey Woody is playing the Fender Rhodes (which is unfortunately really quiet). And Joey is playing the piano and killing it.

Yeah he's multi-talented! Sax, guitar and keys. (Also gorgeous voice.) Most of Vulf are multi-instrumentalists.
Its crazy how much he sounds like Michael Jackson. Such an amazing voice.
This is killer!!!
