I've been pickup truck camping since the 80's on up to 2017 before I stopped. I had 2 jobs that required me to travel, a lot! I've stayed in hotels & motels & the first thing I check for is bed bugs. If it's ok than I take some tissue paper & plug the peek a boo hole in the door. Nice vid, drive safe, thx for sharing. 🤠

They have holes in the door? I have one to check who's calling, but never use it, it was there when I moved in.
They don't have them in UK hotels (although I've never stayed in the really cheap hotels) although, of course, stealth cctv can be installed in clocks, ornaments, etc, but UK law says you must put up a sign if you have cctv on your premises, even in shops and banks

Nice vid man! Don't know if you noticed but at around 8:03 or 8:04 a little tiny bug comes out to visit ya on your hotel window. Hope you and family has a great time!

If you had driven down towards Hatteras you could have truck camped at the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, it's a National Park that spans the link of the whole Hatteras Island. You hit the commercial part of the OBX, you didn't hit the real OBX.
