I believe you will really enjoy traveling through Turkey. In the mid 1970s, while in the military, i was stationed at Izmir Turkey. It stands out to me as one of my best experiences.! The Turkish people were very friendly. Every morning i went to catch the shuttle bus to the base there was this little old lady i would pass by. She would get tickled that i tried telling her good morning in Turkish. I wish we Americans were just half as friendly.
Noraly, you perform such a wonderful service to the world through your travels and videos. Not only do you introduce us to the natural beauty of so many places throughout the world that most of us will most likely never see in person, but you also give us wonderful glimpses into other cultures and traditions and help us to see the beauty in each of them. Thank you for all that you do!
Thx Noraly , i traveld in 1989 with my bike from germany to Adana in Turkey and it was the greatest Experience i have made till now.... wonderfull country with warm and helpful people.... Now iam 62 , but i will try it again with my bike ... :)
Noraly, One thing I noticed in your videos that I think is really admirable is that, no matter how much pain or difficulty you are going through, you always accept it with a smile, not crying over it. Hats off to you.
Nice country Turkey and wonderful people. It was the first country out of Europe that I visited travelling all by myself. Now 50 years ago. The people were genuinely friendly and welcoming.
Turkey is a really beautiful nation with so much history bridging between Asia & Europe it has everything from sweeping highways to rugged dirt roads, thanks noraly for showing us just that! Super excited for this one ❤️
Turkey and Morocco are probably my favourite countries to travel in. Fantastic scenery, people and with modern comforts at the end of a day's riding and exploring. The food is superb in both countries too.
“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” a quote from Mevlana Rumi. Meanwhile Hollandalı Noraly'i bile Türkiye'de dolmuşa bindiren kader, sen nelere kadirsin.
Anyone else see similarities between what Rumi's values were ( 1:45 - 2:00 ) and Noraly's? And to top it off Noraly is so loved as well. Thank you for the amazing cultural education. And big shoutout and thanks to Duygu for assisting you. The architecture and craftsmanship on the buildings is mind blowing. Kick starting Frankie after lunch is becoming trend, haha. Hey Moritz - love the 1 kick easy starts! Thank you so much Noraly. Ride Safe! Peace! ❤❤❤
Rumi, sight seeing, motorcycling, food, culture tasting and meeting new friends.. i would say a day i can dream off.. amazing videos Noraly keep them comming
Thanks for sharing your adventures!!!!!!!! Love it! I found you through a gentleman that I was caring for that was bed bound. He loved your videos! RIP. D.
How fun that you got to meet someone from the Netherlands! I have seen the dervishes and it amazes me that they can be so transfixed that they do not get dizzy or can overcome their dizziness in their meditations. ❤
Old fan here, I love watching my land through your eyes. Thank you very much for sharing. Franky gives me courage to fix my riding habit to grow. I was very hesitant to ride again after my little accident but you and Franky is here to overcome it. There are some nay sayers i know, but please be the optimisit as you are and help others, like me. To beat fear of riding once more.
Oh how pretty! What a great visit to the mosque and history lesson. How nice to have met a fellow Hollander to help with your visit. The twirling performance was very interesting as well as the story behind it. You are so lucky to have so many temporary pets to enjoy…and of course they are lucky to have Noraly give them attention. Really enjoyed Konya! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Noraly for taking us to such a lovely place in Turkey - it’s soul as they call it. It was amazing to learn about resting place of the great Sufi saint Rumi. Terrific !! Turkey seems to be a paradise for travellers and riders. Great to see you enjoy your ride here. Ride on Itchy Boots !!
Noraly you meeting Duygu had to be Divine intervention.....What were the chances of that !!! You bring us the most amazing history that we would never know or see.❤
Interesting to learn about Whirling Dervishes! They were fascinating to watch! Really enjoyed the relaxed vibe around town even though this is a big city! Cool jacket, Itchy Boots, and I’m digging the longer hair, too! BTW..lunch looked Devine!! Thanks for sharing! Cheers from Texas USA ❤❤
Rumi and Hafiz are favorite poets for me. What a wonderful surprise to be able to visit Rumi's resting place! The artistry is just exquisite, and I could feel the peace through the computer screen. 💖 And perfect seats for the Sufi dancing. (Also one palm facing up and the other down - heaven and earth).
I literally got dizzy watching their performance. I don't know how they can do it, especially with their eyes closed. Definitely a very unique experience, and a beautiful city.
Thank you for continuing to discover for us the wonders that exist in each country, and above all you, who even when difficulties arise, continue to smile and continue without stopping. Take care of yourself, Noraly.❤❤
Stray cats and dogs are protected in Turkey ❤ OMW, I'm in awe of Rumi's work and the whirling dervisha too. Thanks for sharing this Noraly, made my day!!! ❤
Everything that is made beautiful, fair, and lovely is made for the eye of one who sees. -Rumi. Thanks, Nurally. Seeing my favorite philosopher's poet's tomb is a lifetime opportunity. However, I'm also from another religion.
The people of Turkey are very kind to foreigners even in the large city of Istanbul. Turkey is a great country!! ❤ So kind of this lovely woman to take you with her to the ceremony. Wishing her & her family a life time of happiness! ❤
19:43 Yet another informative experience for those of us who follow you, Noraly ! Giving us an in depth look at the special places you visit. I’ve heard the term ‘whirling dervish’ and now I know its origin ! Thank you once again for going us more than a riding experience but again we gain so much more from staying with you, Noraly…❤❤❤Rick

Wonderful video. You are so good at bringing your adventures to so many and, some of us who can no longer do that in person. We do appreciate your efforts Noraly. Pre-ordered your book too.
The logistics of just finding data cards, another small but important part of Noraly's job. Like she said in another video: "It's not fun but has to be done."
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful video, a dream to visit Konia, a dream to get in touch with the life of Mevlana Jalaludin Rumi. Although you are in the Asian part, it gives the appearance of a European country. What a great idea to have started your trip through Turkey, a great idea and I believe that great and beautiful adventures await you. A big hug from Buenos Aires.
My mother is from Konya, but I was born in Istanbul. Our Konya is a very beautiful, clean and historical city. We would be happy to see you in our country.
Hey Noraly 👋 Only you could make topping up internet data and having lunch such a captivating and delightful experience 😀 What a stunning location for lunch.
Ahhh finally someone who makes me smile bless her! I always thoroughly look forward to all of your videos Noraly. You're one of the very best UA-camrs out there.
I love it when you get lost or just in a place you've never been. I'm enjoying these videos so much because you are capturing my heart. I've only been to Istanbul, across the bridge into Asia Minor, and back to Istanbul. I am too old at 80 to do the kind of traveling you do so thank you for fulfilling my Bucket List over the last few years. I'm a true follower.
19:25 "I'm back to my beautiful home. Selamünaleyküm" :) You are very natural, thank you for coming to our country and promoting it. I am glad to have met you. I am now your close follower.❤
Lots of great Turkish culture with dervish gimmicks and your irresistible humor were the focus of this very entertaining episode. And there were 20 megabytes of Hi, Hi, Hi too. 😂❤
Best start to the morning, cats, Frankie, Itchy Boots, and the beauty of Turkey. Love Rumi’s work and the mausoleum is stunning! Adding it to my bucket list.🧡 Safe travels Itchy Boots
You open the world to us,in the most amazing ways. Most of the places,I never would have heard of,or even visited. And You do the best job of describing what you are seeing, and going to see. Always at treat. Thank you.
Quickly becoming the cat whisperer. But seriously, your living the dream and it is wonderful to see amazing places I wouldn't otherwise experience. Looking forward to your next video. Thanks 😊
@Itchy Boots I live in Adana, Turkey. I am so happy and honored that you came to Turkey. I watch all your videos with love and pleasure. You are truly charming and free-spirited.❤❤😊
I traveled through Turkey years ago in the company of a young woman who refused to adapt to local customs and wore a skirt at mid-thigh length. So wonderful to see you being respectful - - I doubt anyone threw rocks at you, as they did her!
The city you are currently in, Konya, is the largest city in Turkey in terms of surface area. To give an example, it is larger than the Netherlands. It takes a lot of time to travel. It has its own special dishes. If you are still in Konya, I recommend you to eat it. Etliekmek, yağ somunu , bamya çorbası, fırın kebabı , tirit ,
No, that's not right :) You're talking about Konya as a province. And yes, that is that big, but the city itself is 6600 km2 vs The Netherlands 42000. And even those 6600 is the "metropolitan area" not just the city proper.
Dear Noraly you explained it so very well. Thank you so much for , always giving me the joy to watch your videos ..sometimes with ☕️ coffee or sometimes in pj's and popcorn on the couch. You are the best Noraly. We love you , please stay safe. Warm greetings.
Oh so fun to watch your channel grow! Just in the moment prior to my comment, "Views" and "Thumbs-up" animation jumped jumped 5K!! Best wishes from the U.S..
It's great to hear you’re exploring Türkiye again. From one motorcyclist to another, just one piece of advice: please be extra cautious in heavy traffic. People often don’t see us or simply don’t pay attention. Sometimes, even traffic lights don’t mean much. Ride safe!
I have cried and groaned in every gathering; I have been friends with both the well-off and the bad-off. Everyone has been my friend in their own way; but no one has sought my inner secrets. Absolutely Noraly is blessed with both, physical and intellectual beauty. Not to mention sensitivity, creativity, generosity and some seriously wicked riding skills. ❤
Rumi, wonderful poet. My favorite quote: "Beyond rightdoing and wrongdoing there is a place. I'll meet you there."
🩷
What is most wonderful about her travels is how they open our eyes to worlds that are sadly misrepresented in our mainstream media
You're right. These videos have definitely improved my opinion of Turkey.
How would I get to know this were it not for Noraly!! Indeed it is the soul of Turkey,,it's beautiful....we love you Noraly

Konya 38,800, 🇳🇱 42.000 plus minus.
Ohh sorry I almost wrote it bigger than the Netherlands, I was wrong, one is a city and the other is a country.
No, that's not right :) You're talking about Konya as a province. And yes, that is that big, but the city itself is 6600 km2 vs The Netherlands 42000. And even those 6600 is the "metropolitan area" not just the city proper.

“Whirling Dervish “
Norali is back on track. Love to see your videos,, so refreshing it is.
I have cried and groaned in every gathering; I have been friends with both the well-off and the bad-off.
Everyone has been my friend in their own way; but no one has sought my inner secrets.
My secret is not far from my cry; but that light is not in the eye or the ear.
