As much as ya'll probably want to believe that, while Tom's second track was really good, it didn't even mac make stumble in terms of growth and relativity. Which is why like say Eminem is so feared in the rap world, as he has ended the careers of a few rappers, he even caused the collapse of the nations biggest hip hop magazine when him and 50 went after The Source and Murder, Inc.
Tom was dissing nova more by cheating on her (his song sober, mentions cheating on nova, around the same time Mac and him had this beef, since it was released in 2020, and he says a year ago)
Toms second response was like watching a cat play with its food before it kills it.

Tom couldn’t be totally pre-prepared because he addressed Lethal’s bars in his own. This was a clean win. They aren’t on the same level. My first time hearing it was very shortly after discovering Tom, if he was better I’d be a Lethal fan now, but I haven’t heard anything else he’s created, while anticipate every MacDonald drop with excitement.

The first diss song was for Mac specifically, the bait. Mac was the target audience, so he went slow to make sure he was understood, and yet Mac still didn’t comprehend he was dissing his parenting and not his daughter. The "tired" feeling and slow tempo was simply a genius play by Tom to go slow so that Mac would get it.

Nova was a star signed to Def Jam where she released a fair bit of music but in the end they treated her like shit and mistreated her so much that Nova tried and successfully got dropped from the label and swore she would NEVER sign to a label again! When Tom and Nova started dating after being friends for years meeting in Edmonton Canada, Nova helped navigate Tom through all the pitfalls and dirty shit record labels do especially when labels wanted to sign Tom after he blew up with "Dear rappers" so they would go to some major record label meetings with NO intention EVER to sign, but just to find out how much they though Tom was worth, so he could find out what his INDEPENDANT outlook would be, obviously Tom made the right choice and NOW Tom and Nova help each other with their music and have the ultimate freedom even though they both work 16-18 hrs a day but don't regret a thing, also killing it financially!💯🔥🙏🍁

Go read the lyrics to his song sober, apparantly he was arrested once for stabbing his ex, and he says he cheated on people he needed "a year ago" (this was released in 2020, so that sounds like he's talking about Nova.)

I honestly gave the edge to Lethal when it came to the first 2 disses. And I do believe that Tom was being slow on purpose, in his first diss, to get Lethal to respond so that Tom could murder him with his response. Tom killed him with his second diss. The first diss had to be a trap with those minor jabs.
That why it's called legal injection. It represents legal having an addiction, and is he takes the bait tom would come back and kill him lyrically. It worked and mac took the legal injection to his career. He even had to go dark for a while cause he kept getting hi Dave comments in reference to his Mac lethal sucks track. I think Tom was being nice and would have let mac go even after the Mac lethal got his track, but Mac talked about nova so Tom destroyed him.

Mac went off the socials for a while. People were sending him some rather epic message, such as: “Hi Dave 👋🏽 hi Dave 👋🏽 hi Dave 👋🏽”. That message was fairly universal after Tom dropped this approx 24 hours after Mac dropped his.
Mac was a battle rapper but after his weak response, I no longer consider that claim to be a flex.

I wouldn't call his diss the sickest, but Tom is pretty dang good compared to what is out there now. Old school wise and even still relevant today, 2Pac's diss to Biggy about his wife Fay, himself, and his crew called Hit "Em Up, is still epic as all hell. Lets not forget Ice Cubes diss to NWA, especially Eazy-E, called No Vaseline. The 90's are still the best era of this genre of music. Rappers and hip hop artists still can't hold a candle to the 90's. It was a special time and moment, good and really bad, where artists actually had something worth saying. That was because of what was happening in the 80's and early 90's. There are some decent artists out there today, but most artists today make up stories, try joining gangs just to get street cred and try to seem more legit than their fake ass lives that they live, or to make their fans think that they are gangsta's, instead, they are just wanksta's wanting to be gangsta.
