Totally! I've seen pre-made anki decks for a bunch of different languages and you could do voice recordings as part of the card as well! Let me know how it goes
For the most part, it has the same interface and settings as the computer version. The only caveat is making cards. I would not make cards on the mobile app (the computer version is way better). For excel files, I'm not sure how you would use it in combination with anki.
Fellow Caribbean med student here👋I don’t have a MacBook, I have an iPad, should I still get Ankimobile? Can I get pre made decks using Ankimobile? Is the functionality still the same using just an iPad?
The only reason I ask is that on the iPhone you can basically do it everywhere because everybody has their phone on them all the time! The only other benefit of Anki mobile is that the layout is pretty simple. If you're planning on making your own cards I would suggest downloading it on your laptop or desktop (does not need to be a Macbook) for these reasons: #1: it's free! #2: way easier to make cards. If you don't mind shelling out the $25 USD, then there is no problem having anki mobile. You should be able to download premade decks the same way. Hope that helps!
@@anikasamuel3945 You can definitely download pre-made decks! Just have to make an account online after downloading Anki. It's not too complicated. If for some weird reason your computer is not compatible with Anki let me know. Good luck on what ever term you are going into!
The pre-made M1/M2 deck is pretty good. I heard it worked well for students until term 4. For the questions, I'll do a mixture of both. I would either screenshot the answer choices from an IMCQ question from SGU and others I make from scratch to compare the key features from one condition to another. For the ones from SGU questions, I would often try to make a stem for each answer choice. Hope that helps and good luck!
Sorry Arsalan, I was a little confused with your request. My initial thought was you wanted me to make a video on my Term 1 deck. I realized now that you probably want me to give you access to my deck. Tell you the truth, its trash. I was not very good at making cards term 1. I will more than likely be sharing my Term 2 deck.
Def persuaded me. Not doing med school, just doing some language learning in my case

I thought Anki was only compatible with iOS devices, I can use my laptop then, thanks alot. I'd still be able to download pre-made decks right?

What’s a good deck for terms 1 & 2? And for the ones that you make, do you make your own questions or use the assigned questions?

@@medical_muscle_greg thank you🙌🏻
Excellent introduction and useful tips. Thank you.
Fantastic!
Can you share your anki deck for term1.
That is a great idea Arsalon! I can do that.
