she did say the cut took an hour and a half😭 maybe that’s part of the reason?? & stylists usually have to take extra courses to learn how to cut/style curly hair since it’s not taught much in cosmetology school😕

I’m so jealous that you have access to good haircuts. I’ve tried at least 4 “curly specialists” or deva certified stylists in my area and NEVER had good results like this. My hair is super similar to yours just way thinner. They always cut off all my hair and I feel like I start all over.

I’m in the same predicament as you Lisette. I haven’t dyed my hair since Sept 2019 and my hair is so healthy now and getting long BUT I do miss a little bit of bright color but I’m like ugh I’d feel guilty adding more color when my natural hair is just flourishinggg. But for now I say keep dark hair setty and let it continue to grow 🤍😘

Lisette, I am IN LOVE with your hair. I got my hair bleached & dyed honey blonde last year in December. I’m currently also trying to grow my hair out & get it healthy again. The bleach really damaged my curls & ruined my volume. 😩 Trying to grow my hair out & I’m slowly cutting off the blonde. It gets frustrating cause I feel as if my hair hasn’t grown fast even since then but you give me hope. 🥺🤩
