Mary: say something nice Paul Paul : to say it was dreadful would be a humiliation to the word dreadful. Me: Paul do you know the meaning of the word nice?
I just LOVE the they applaud the person who came in first. You CAN actually be happy for somebody else in a competition, and not just skulk off to a corner and tell the camera, that actually that person isnt very good. This is why I watch this happy show :)
I have nothing against him personally, but why does Paul make me so uncomfortable . Like he's scratching his head and touching the bread with his grubby hands and he does it so aggressively makes me genuinely anxious and I can't stomach watching him he eat it. I'm sorry no hate just don't know if anyone else can relate.
@@HOULWOOD Well, maybe because it's bread, one of the main sources of food. You always see faraway-countries being given bread and milk to gain weight. I mean, colourful cakes and sweets didn't make me think it would benefit poor people somehow, but thís triggered that thought.
I'm pretty sure most of the bakes are given to the crew afterwards, so it's not all wasted :) Maybe insted of thinking how a silly baking show affects starving people, let's actually donate to charities that help them or donate straight to our local food banks
You dont need shouting and drama to make a good cooking/baking contest show. Love this show.

"Not bad....Not bad at all."
Just say "good", Paul 😂
It's the very British use of litotes.
*sensually runs fingers along the plaits of the bread*
Such a relaxing show, I love it.

I really love James so much, he's so adorable

You can see right away the end one is the best, it's almost perfect, and looked golden.

Em Mi
Absolutely.
I like watching him, period
A bit informal
Just watched it again after a couple of years and it only confirms that Brendon was robbed.... Totally robbed, can't understand what happened????
It feels weird watching this and thinking about how actual starving people in several countries would judge the food (a.k.a. not.)
How? I wouldnt say braided bread is the pinicle of opulance

Widdekuu91 It's a baking show ....and a very benign one.
It's not like they walk around judging everything they eat on a daily basis.
I did think that too just as I clicked on the video. It's a curious world!
