These are authentic, beautiful, raw musicians who genuinely enjoy what they do, and are enjoying being able to collaborate with other musicians who feel the same. This is why I love music, why I love these bands, these musicians. They clearly enjoy every moment they are performing and enjoy sharing their music with others and spreading the joy they feel. They understand what music is, and what it's meant to be.

The blonde with the accordion is Marla Feeney. She was my jazz band director at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, Iowa way back when. She now has a very prolific career in Branson, Missouri. We still keep in touch.

I can't even imagine what it would be like to have that gift, that freedom of expression. I am absolutely envious of them in a good way. One of my favorite videos. Would love to have an opportunity to see them one day!
You can have it. Its all about authentically responding. Dance, sing, shout, paint. You dont have to be an artist. You just have to respond!
Even with a British band taking part, very few performances scream "AMERICAN" so perfectly.... chaotic, beautiful, outrageous, positive, noisy... wonderful.

The fact that this 1 video, is compiled of what I believe to be 2-3 different performances but feels like a single show just goes to show how energetic the end of each concert was. Incredible
I love how close they were when they were singling lol, absolutely in the moment this entire performance makes me sad because my generation most definitely won't let me be able to experience such energy but it's ok. Thankful for UA-cam and pages like these 💗 very underappreciated these bands were.

This is what playing music is all about folks! Not some fancy show with fire and hot b!tchIz and synchchronized dancing. Just pure joy, sillyness, not holding back whatever the fuck you want to do/play with a bunch of friends on stage and a crowd loving every little thing they do.

When me and my fiance first heard and watched about every performance these awesome musicians have , I'm sure we listen to the entire tour they produced together without turning it off. I was and still am fixated on (Alex Ebert ) of Edward sharp and the magnetic zeros. One of my all time favorite groups. Big shout out to the entire bad... the Caucasian version of Bob Marley

I think we have different angles on this. I can't get enough of M&S and Ed Sharpe so this doc was perfect for me. And i gradually got into OCMS through the doc. Different preferences probably mean we have different levels of enjoyment. It was Ed Sharpe's proposal to make this doc, so that could be an explanation of why they featured most.
