I just did the upgrade on both of my SVS
Ultra 13 subs It was easy peasy to do and l love the upgrade, especially the app to control everything with all it's feature and controls. No more going to back of the sub and pushing the rotary knob to change the settings. That alone is worth the upgrade

I did this upgrade for my SB-13 Ultra and the app functionality alone was worth it but there is a very tangible upgrade to overall output as well!

Does this upgrade also work with the older SB13-plus?
The 2 wires on my old sledge did not pull right off like the video. They both had a small locking tab i had to find for them to release. Until then no matter how hard you pulled that small tab held it in place.
Thanks for the feedback, there is a tab that requires pressure to release.
Mine was like this too. For other readers' benefit: the point where you need to press is on the side where the two crimps curve in toward the middle. Use a long thin tool to press on that side in the middle slightly above the top of the crimps, and use your other hand to pull the connector straight up. I destroyed one of my old sledge's connectors to bring you this information.
@@TristanSchmelcher I am in exactly this situation and cannot get those connectors apart, and cannot, for the life of me, figure out where or how to press to get them to release from the amp that I’m trying to remove
hi everyone i had a replacement amplifier for my svs13BP it's been working ok but having trouble connecting to bluetooth after a few years of having to has everyone got any advice or has this happened to you
Does the wire adapter shown here work the same with the old bash amp in the original Pb13 ultra?
The amp upgrade can be used to replace the Bash amps as well. Just note when ordering and we'll provide the necessary hardware.

Have enjoyed my SVS subwoffer. Just wish the broken supply chain would be fixed. I would like the upgrade. I miss my bottom end bass. Hope SVS could come up with a estimated time of arrival. Or another suitable solution. Flash another plate amp with DSP for this box and driver. I have a wood shop can make it fit nicely. Can fabricate adapter plate. Or repair parts as I am a electronics technician. But I have enjoyed the sub and do enjoy my ultra tower surround system.

I have the original Model PC-Ultra (#PC13-Ultra). Will this work for me? If so, do you have any before/after commentary? I am mostly looking for the impact at 20hz and 15hz in both standard and 15hz tunes. PS Does the app know which driver or configuration the amp is being installed in? Thanks!

what torque setting on screw driver
I got a good question.. What if someone wanted to make a custom enclosure with a different subwoofer? What is the Ohm tolerance of this amp?
I did this exact thing with two sledge STA-1000D's. Used 2 15" Audiopulse AXIS 15 D2 subs. I contacted SVS to see what their amps are rated down to. The STA-1000D is rated to 4 ohms. So it worked perfectly for my 15's. Each one sees full power of the STA-1000D and is housed in 5.5 cu ft tuned to 20hz via a 2x18" slot port.
@@stevieG2015 Awesome! I did it with a Sundown U-18 D2. I really believe this upgrade kit is underrated @ 1,200 rms, the U-18 is rated at 1,500 rms and gets warm with a hint of burn to the point I have to turn it down.
@@Drgluee It really goes to show how overbuilt the 13 ultra drivers are! I've had my DIY 15's for over a year now and they've never missed a beat or even gotten warm on the STA 1000D. They're rated at 1000 RMS with peak power of 4000 watts but personally I believe they are underrated as I've got to really jam on them to get monster excursion. I've also added a PC13 ultra in the rear behind my couch to fill in my space. It's a very challenging room to get the acoustics just right. I'll be doing the amp upgrade on the PC shortly.
same procedure for upgrading a bash amp of pb13ultra?

He connected a red wire to a red wire and a black wire to a black wire and voila! An adapter is now attached.
