Touring through Toronto in support of their bitchin' latest album release Lower the Bar, I had the true delight of speaking with Satchel and Lexxi Foxx from one of my favourite bands of all time, Steel Panther! Album after album, this band of badasses continue to blow me away with their musicianship and cheekily blunt humour, so I was absolutely psyched to have them on AMBY. Get ready for lots of laughs; dive into our conversation as we discuss lowering the bar, the benefit of obtaining every sexual disease, having matching unicorn tattoos on their balls, going to jail, and Tinder dates.

Pretty sure I met them a few days after this in England and I met Satchel and he gave me a speech considering I was the only child there, Stixx was really kind and the band were just genuinely really down to earth, entirely appropriate backstage. The photographer was forcing us on but the band wanted to speak to us like real people.

I feel like people don't give these guys enough credit! Yes I know the songs are supposed to be funny and they don't always take themselves seriously, but the music is awesome and they're really talented musicians.
