I loved this list! And this is my top 10: 🇧🇷 1. Pink Floyd - Time 2. Radiohead - How to disappear completely 3. Led Zeppelin - Stairway to heaven 4. Fleetwood Mac - Gold dust woman 5. Echo & Bunnymen - The killing moon 6. Eagles - One of these nights 7. Radiohead - All I need 8. Midlake - Roscoe 9. Rainbow - Catch the Rainbow 10. Radiohead - The tourist
Untitled is my favorite Interpol song . Every time I listen to it I feel that song captures everything I am feeling in that moment . For me trying to come up with a top favorite songs let alone albums of all time is just impossible but I love watching these kind of videos bc no one’s list is ever the same maybe some artist but not the songs and everyone’s perspective is different.
Kira, I just noticed your Spotify playlist for PAPERGIRLS, just wanted to say that I crushed that show in one day the weekend it came out, love the comic, loved the show!
I really enjoy listening to music as well, so I enjoyed watching this video. None of these songs would be in my Top 30, but I would like to listen to them, especially the Nina Simone song. I was driving home and Stairway to Heaven was playing on the radio and it was honestly the first time that I listened to it in its entirety knowing that it was Stairway to Heaven. I liked the format of how you responded to each song, both with commentary and your physical movements. I know that in music classes, they are now having students move to pieces of music. Back when I was taking music class, we were told to close our eyes, open our ears, and take in the music. Thank you for sharing! -Josh
wow when you said there was gonna be another interpol song from totbl after obstacle 1 I thought you were definitely mentioning stella was a diver. probably because of the name. but untitled is a banger as well. stella just happens to be my favorite song by them. but if I had to choose 1 song out of everything it would probably motion picture soundtrack.
i looove stella as well - my channel name shows that! it just so happens that every song on TOTBL is a banger pretty much hah. motion picture soundtrack is a classic pick, respected
Untitled blew my mind the first time I heard it too. It combines such a catchy groove with such a feeling of hopelessness. TOTBL overall is so good, I taught myself the bass parts and used to jam out to it in my garage!
Is Melbourne still standing after them bursts of energi...smoldering embers left i suppose, well, shit happens every now and then.Fun watch with a lot of tips just out of my comfort zone musically ,the way i love it. Stockholm still loves Ms Diver.... Cheers girl.
Hey Kira, I love you! And I have always listen to Cat Stevens . Wild World easy favorite .My question is why do you like Cat Stevens and is he from Australia!?
Favorite songs. I think I've been alive too long to make a list that would fit in a video. Lots of them from my younger days. Some attached to events. Of yours I didn't know very many. I love Strange Fruit. I think my favorite version of Hallelujah is by John Cale. Trying to watch this out in front of a medical building and it's 90 degrees and only the person being seen can be inside. Ugh..
Also nice to see Lykke Li on your list. "Sadness is a blessing" from 2011 is my fave of hers. Both her parents were musicians in bands I've listened to. Her father in a band called Dag Vag (under pseudonym "Zilverzurfarn" (or sometimes Zilver Zurf) and her mother in Tant Strul. Both bands were (kinda) part of the first wave of Swedish punkrock.
It's impossible to make a list of favourite songs. I can do albums but favorite songs is hard. Blackwater park by opeth, good mourning black friday by Megadeth, forensic clinicism by carcass would be on it I guess. Ok I can't think anymore.
a comment from a russian viewer - the best of the Smiths is no doubt Suffer little children. As for the rest this one song is better than all of yr favourites' - ua-cam.com/video/jF4TxWZzG3Q/v-deo.html
Hi Kira 👋 - Entroducing by DJ Shadow is 100% samples & is brilliant. Midnight In The Perfect World my favorite track. I like the closing track of Grace - Dream Brother , it eerily foreshadows his own demise. The ⛓️ is classic by the Fleetwoods & Untitled is my favourite song of 2002 & what an opener to an iconic album. Just saw Morrissey with Blondie , Devo , Bauhaus , The Church & many others - What a great festival in Pasadena CA. ✌️
Hey Kira, I have been out of commission and had to buy a new phone . So I am just now checking out your recent video . I love your dancing, of course ! You always look great, of course ! But, I really dig your spontaneous attitude ! I love it ! I haven't smiled since your last video ! I hope you see my text because I am late seeing ! Sorry about that!
You're adorable. And you've got the best taste in music. I've been aware of Interpol but never checked them out. Now I will. And Lykke Li and the In Rainbows album.
