I used to use the PlayStation Pulse headphones back in the day, I liked them but they were similar where they could vibrate to anything so it was a case of adjusting the sensitivity to make sure it was just right. Personally, I’d like a mouse with haptic feedback. It was strange going from a controller that would vibrate when you shot your gun to nothing when using M&KB. I’ve looked around online and a lot of people do not like the thought of a vibrating mouse but I really like the idea. Great vid as always.
Rafiq Azzam it was an intense experience but the haptic isnt as bad as he said it was in the video. Though there may be a generational preference due to age but i love them
I've been using this headset for a year along with my Astro A50. as he said its different, in FPS games you really need to catch these little footsteps especially in the warzone, yet you don't want it to be too loud when there is a chopper on top of your head so you can listen to the footsteps. my experience that it's more fun to use than any other headset, they are loud clear, but it can get really loud sometimes. THX is my favorite part since it gets you in the game like no other headset can do. Haptic will be your most favorite and after a while, the other headset will be redundant only for the times you are charging the headset... On the con part, the battery is beyond bad, you can get to everything, the weight, the vibration, you can fix the microphone but you can't do anything about the batteries... while they say it last for 8 hours in haptic and LED it doesn't stand more then 5 hours if you are lucky, I have changed 4 already under warranty yet none of them hold more then 5 hours. overall its fun, it's different, it's like trying the new PS5 joystick haptic feature, and in gaming, I appreciate the new experience, in VR it's amazing and it works great with PS5 plug the dongle and plays however you won't be able to change the settings as you do in PC... I will only recommend this headset for people who own another set and looking for something different, it will surely change your prespectives.
I had these for a couple weeks and eventually went back to my Sennheiser Game Ones. Man I was watching your video, and I like the review, really in depth, you got to the point and there was well done editing. I was shocked when this video only had 8,000 views. You definitely deserve more views. I was just finding out if it was worth the 200 bucks for the pewdiepie version lol.
thank you so much! it's a really cool headset, but the haptic vibration does get annoying after awhile.
Do the mic work your phone, with the headphone jack
Awesome Review!
Could you do
Zowie GSR vs GSR SE?
Just a request.✌
Got it and thresher for ps4 from new year sale to replace my chimaera 5.1.
I am happy with them. My Chimaera 5.1 just died after 8years of rare usage.I think its ribbon tore inside. Still able to take apart and fix but i don’t have time.
Welcome to 100K Subs
With this being black friday weekend I just purchased 2 headphones now I'm here thinking should I kept the Kraken Ultimate or get these.
Hey Techne , which is better between these and the arctis pro with the dac?
arctis pro
@@TheTechne Hey thanks for the response, can you recommend a reasonable headset that will work wireless and also Bluetooth with mobile phone?
@@MrBullythecat what gaming platform are you on?
The Techne PS4
Should i go for nari ultimate or corsair virtuoso wireless se?
I'd say the pressure being on your head better than the ear, I had skullcandy crusher wireless and that was their downfall is the pressure was on both my head and ears
What do you think is the best wireless headset for ps4
Audeze penrose/ mobius vs this in terms of sound quality?
Which one is better
I've got the Penrose and these, and most of the time I'm wanting to use the Penrose. You need to "be in the mood" for haptics and i can't be bothered to hook the Nari up to my laptop to turn the haptics off lol. I use my Audeze set whenever i wanna listen to some music. Find them absolutely dandy for that 🍻 so imo Penrose wins
Can it be used wirelessly with the switch in docked mode and using the dongle transmitter?
Finally a good, thorough review. Thanks man!
which one would be better for pc gaming this one or the Logitech G733 LIGHTSPEED.
Do they have mic monitoring? And does the razer nari have it as well which one should I get for my xbox one
Are you able to turn off haptic?
Debating....... Razer Nari Ultimate or Razer Kraken Ultimate?
I got the Xbox edition its pretty bad ass even now but am not sure if there is any way or dongle to use it on the ps5
got the reg version for 80$ on prime day what a steal its a pretty good headset
Techne whats your current keyboard?
SteelSeries Apex Pro ua-cam.com/video/X1Fl7-ysY5Q/v-deo.html
If you're ever selling these joints let me know. I'd love to buy these from my favorite reviewer!
does it work for xbox wireless or do I have to use wire
what was your headset's settings?
This video actually helped me by finding my dream headset. I just ordered the nari ultimate #pewdiepie edition and I can't wait for it to arrive. Nice vid btw, really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work! ❤
Wait there is a pewdiepie edition?
If I only play call off duty / battlefield would these be worth buying ?
the vibration is overwhelming in cod
The Techne can’t the vibration be turned down?
- Johnto yes its possible
- Johnto yeah I have them and they are good Especially listening to music
Do u reccomend a headset or a mic because my headset just broke and I'm looking into the fifine k669
like a separate amp compared to a gaming headset?
I spent 200 on these when they came out for my son, and he says his gaming friends say his mic is awful. can he fix that. Is that an issue.
In the video you said they work on Switch, do you mean wired or wireless ( Great video btw)
You have to use the wire that comes with us @borislsfloorgang
These remind me of the Skullcandy crushers and how you can feel the bass with them
I love Crushers, or well, the Crusher wireless, which is what I have.
Crusher wireless have better sound and haptic feedback
So I had a question, i mainly play on ps4/console. I recently got the steelseries arctis pro regular edition without a game dac and not wirless. Tbh I dont care too much about the surround sound feature but idk if I should sell my pros and just get the arctis 3s because they should sound the same right? I just want to know what the best headset to get for ps4/console is other then the gamedac version , too pricey for me.
what is your price range?
@@TheTechne max probably $100
@@TheTechne like honestly have nothing against these arctis pros, I can easily pinpoint footsteps and comfy as hell, just wondered if theres any better options out there .
@@a1exogic the artcis 7's are great for ps4. but not much better around 100$ unless you go with an external amp set up
@@TheTechne ok, so would you say I should just stick with my pros, or try and sell them or trade for the 7s? Thanks for the help!
Hi is the razer nari ultimate better than kraken v3 pro?
