This video is a great way to get an overview of how Polyboard will help you with your projects. It is far faster than drawing by hand or with CAD. And all modifications you make automatically update your cutting lists, plans and CNC output if you need it.
Polyboard is used by businesses in industrial settings worldwide. We give you the option to buy or continue to use the free version of the software in conjunction with a very affordable Premium Support plan. It's easy to get started and easy to learn.
The video talks about loading up a template into the software. This is available from our Wood Designer website too. Load up the template into Polyboard that comes with it, and get started playing around with the controls. - Наука та технологія
I think this is a really awesome tool for furniture designers

Thanks for that video, could you please explain how to install quick design, I tried on polyboard 6.05 unfortunately it doesn`t work. I don`t know what I did wrong Thankyou
Hi, please go to our website, register for free, then download the Quick Design libraries from this page: wooddesigner.org/polyboard-download-software/ There's a video tutorial on the same page if you need it. Please note, we are on version 7 of Polyboard, so the libraries work with version 7, not 6. Contact us via our website if you're using Polyboard 6 and we'll see what we can do to help. Thanks

Im confused. The software is free. But you have a fuller version that isn't. BUT, if you dont wish to purchase the full version that provides cut lists, i can send Polyboard my drawings and in return you will provide the cut list and detailed cut drawings free of charge?
Am I missing something? I'm assuming there would be a charge for proving cut lists and details. Yes?
The difference between the free and fully activated versions is the ability to output the cut list, plans and CNC files. Normally pros buy the software so they can do this. But we have a service where you use the free version (all design functions are available) then ask us to process your manufacturing output. There is now a charge for this service, but it's much cheaper than buying outright so great for the occasional or one-off project. Thanks
Hi Just a quick question.
Let's say you build this unit and you have for example 100mm pipe on the wall. How do you incorporate the cut out for this pipe in to the project without starting from beginning
There's a feature inside Polyboad called unboxing. You specific the dimensions of the cut out and all other parts are instantly edited to incorporate it, plus the cut list and plans thanks
i used this, but with inch not mm? can i change it to mm?
tools-> unit -> mm
Yes, in Tools > Units you can change between metric and imperial thanks
it has dowloading i will write here
um i attempted to download it, and it was detected as malware/virus
There is no virus in the software, as long as you download from our website. Sometimes you will get a false positive reading from your anti-virus software, in which case you'll need to whitelist our software, temporarily deactivate or request the anti-virus software to check it. Thanks
Sounds perfect for the weekeind woodworker that i am. The free software, free cut list is still available? /edit: nevermind, the minimal subscription fee to get cut lists if needed is quite affordable.
Hi Jhon!
Yes, you can download the free version of PolyBoard along with the Quick Design libraries here: wooddesigner.org/polyboard-download-software/
As for the cutlist, it comes as a part of our CabinetFile service, more information here: wooddesigner.org/cabinetfile-service/
@@wooddesigner So for only 50 gbp i get one cut list for an entire project? Wow.. that’s a great deal and very affordable imho, nice!
Is there a similar deal for optimizing cuts from standard panels? I can’t seem to navigate around the website, most menu items do not return content.
It is indeed a great affordable way for occasional woodworkers to use PolyBoard, unfortunately, there isn't a similar service for our optimization softwares but you can consider OptiCut 50 as an affordable software for this purpose.
I don't have any option that says "plinth" ?
Hello and thanks for your message. To use the plinths you must activate the exterior area of the plinth in the properties menu on the right hand side of the screen. If you need further help please email us at support @ wooddesigner . org. Crystal
Hi, how get template,thanks
We have a range of templates on our website wooddesigner.org/ register for free then download them for this page wooddesigner.org/polyboard-download-software/ they come with the 2nd download, the Quick Design Libraries thanks
anyone still have this software?
Hi Justin, we have lots of people downloading and using this software every day. Some for one-off projects will use Polyboard as a subscription service but mostly we sell the software outright to professionals who make kitchens/fitted cabinetry/other furniture. More info can be found here: wooddesigner.org/support-plans/ (check out the best option for you at the bottom of that page) Thanks
detected as a virus on my PC

i cant even use the polyboard by the link he gave in the description. Total bummer.
Hi Liaqst, that link does work, it takes you to our website homepage. You can register on that page for free then you'll be directed to the download page. Alternatively you can register here: wooddesigner.org/support-plans/ Thanks
Why are you making it so costly? Other tools with much more functionality are less than $100.
Tell me please the name of good programs and not expensive programs for furniture design
Karisma
Hi thanks for your comments. It's actually a lot cheaper than comparable pro software. Anything for that price will be very simple, not at all useful for a professional or serious amateur. Thanks

There is no one home and there is no free software
Please can you check out our reply to Thomas Yates about the free vs paid options thanks
Its another scam designed to hook you into later buying the full package. By showing some honesty the company would actually make money rather than have people immediately abandon it. Thumbs down.
Please can you take a look at our comment above. We have a full paid version or a very cheap option to use pro software without buying outright. Thanks
Well, this is complete crap. I mean, I'm sorry if you made this yourself and its supposed to help people, but I'm just starting out working, and while this helps me design, you cant just include something in it to give you he cut lists? The scripts wouldn't be hard, an amateur software programmer fresh out of junior college could design something more sophisticated and easier to use than this.
"an amateur software programmer fresh out of junior college could design something more sophisticated and easier to use"
Then why haven't you built it? My guess is you have no idea what you are talking about.
It's pro software, the full version outputs the cut list, plans and CNC files. Thanks
