Set up a Blum hinge in PolyBoard

  • PolyBoard can manage virtually any hardware. In this video we set up a Blum hinge starting from the technical sheet and add it to PolyBoard's Fittings library.
    As well as setting up the drilling configuration for the hardware, we show how to apply a Placement rule to determine its position in any cabinet.

    I’ve been working in polyboard for the past 2 months and I can say that this is the best furniture designing software out there! The fittings and positioning rules features almost makes producing like a game!
    I use polyboard coupled with optinest and I cut my boards on a CNC with the fittings holes drilled!

    Hey Ness, I'm trying to understand the theory behind the y-position of the 35mm hole according to the overlay rule of 11mm. I don't get why you don't just offset it by 11mm instead of 6.5, as it's the center of the 35mm hole that's referenced.

      Oh, I see now. The rule is between the edge of the hole and the inside face - that explains it. 🙃

      @@Areyouoscar 6.5 = 17.5 from axis less 11 overlaps from side
