BEAUTIFUL GARDEN. So easy to get lost and found, both, the English Cottage / French Formal garden. You need several well-placed benches for meditation and to enjoy the sights and smells. As soon as Jason and Brooke at Cog Hill Farms, a favorite channel of mine, I had to pop over to take a VM look. It’s clear to see your garden is a labor of love. Thank you for sharing! 😄💜

I love the coghill farm videos and watch them several times a day ( same videos) over and over.. lol... they do brag on you a lot.. thanks for sharing this information. I cannot have a garden due to health issues, however I do plant 2-3 tomato plants a year. I am 76 and I have a neighbor that is almost 90 and she loves tomatoes, especially cherry tomatoes, so that is why I plant 1 cherry and 2 big ones. Some of my kids help me eat the rest of them. I will watch more of your videos now. I never miss any of Jason's videos.
I just love your huge beautiful gate that opens into a unfenced garden. No boundaries to hold anything in LOL I know in time it will have fencing but for now the visual is magical.
I'm from coghill love I'm 65 and have had 8x strokes 19 years ago I live alone and yes I can use all my limbs but I can't have the big garden use to put out 100 tomatoes every year. Now I have a back porch garden and can go out and make my lunch every day. Beautiful garden
Hi, Tracy!! I just love your garden. It is absolutely beautiful. So healthy and clean looking. I was in awe watching this video. You have such beautiful flowers!! When you go through the gates there it reminds me of a magical garden. Its mesmerizing. So calming just going through it. You can tell you've put alot of work into it. I love all of it. Good morning Tracy from the beautiful pacific NW. You have been recommended by Jason and Brook. We Are so excited to learning about your beautiful gardens!
What an enjoyable video! I love to learn and you gave a great history lesson! Your Potager Garden is spectacular! You mentioned twice the spiritual aspect of your gardening. The beauty of the earth is very spiritual. You mentioned in another video about planting an olive tree with a spiritual reference. I live near many olives groves (Lindsay Olives) and many people use them in landscaping. The olive tree, to me, is extremely spiritual. A painting of Jesus kneeling in the Garden of Gethsemane always comes to mind. Thanks again for a wonderful video!
I could walk along your garden for a long time. What a beautiful place you have created. No wonder Jason, Brooke and Mary Carl want one of their own. No matter how hard it is for them to say.. maybe one day I will find a piece of land to create a small version.

Another great tutorial ... Thanks to you I'm planning and creating a Potager garden in my backyard this spring. I'm so excited, I going from two garden boxes and expanding it to six more boxes and a place for muscadine grapes, plan to espalier apple and pear trees and plant more fig trees, blackberries (according to your plan of growing them), raspberries and creating another strawberry bed. I have a lot of work to do. Wish I had more of your information on how to design it ... All the best to you.
Hi Jean! I’m so excited for you! I plan on going over some design ideas very soon. I’ve got a new video coming out this Sunday 1-30 that might be a bit helpful on planning your garden. I’m covering my seed order, my garden plan for the year and organizing my seed sowing schedule for the year. Hopefully This will be good starting place for you.
Hey Peggy! Our new daughter in laws brother was here from California for the wedding and brought his drone so we have a little footage. I am excited to share it!
Hey! This makes me so incredibly happy! The marigolds are a variety called crackerjack that I started from seed. They are very happy! Keep dreaming my friend! God bless you!
Hi Kathy! Right now I hand water everything. Drag a hose🥴 but I’m hoping and prayer we can get drip irrigation installed soon. As far as weeds I think covering is the secret. I try to always keep my soil covered in a thick layer of mulch or plants.
I love your deep beds. I'm trying to design my own potage/cottage garden, trying to figure out how you get to things in the middles? I'm trying to plan for things that won't need much fussing with for most of the season, but my brain is still thinking in rows. I don't want to end up with an overgrown mess because I can't get to things.
Thanks for sharing your garden. I’m planning my first potager garden for Spring in zone 3 up in Canada. It’s going to be an adventure. I’ve only ever grown flowers but my daughter’s potager garden in British Columbia (zone 7) has inspired me to put in a few raised beds and give it a try. The potager style really appeals to me.
Hey Shari! Oohhhh! I’m so excited for you! I’m planning a few videos about designing a Potager garden. Hopefully they will help inspire you more on your new exciting adventure!
Zone 3 Wow! That’s a whole different ballgame than my zone 8 Just a suggestion….check out Elliot Coleman’s books Winter Harvest and Four season Harvest. These may be helpful to you.
Hi Elin! I set tarted the marigolds from seed I collected last year and they were called crackerjack marigolds They are beautiful! Thank you for watching!

Beautiful
Thank you!
How do you water, and keep it weed free?? It is Beautiful !!
Make sure you leave pathways so that you can get to everything
Thanks for sharing your garden. I’m planning my first potager garden for Spring in zone 3 up in Canada. It’s going to be an adventure. I’ve only ever grown flowers but my daughter’s potager garden in British Columbia (zone 7) has inspired me to put in a few raised beds and give it a try. The potager style really appeals to me.
Hey Shari! Oohhhh! I’m so excited for you! I’m planning a few videos about designing a Potager garden. Hopefully they will help inspire you more on your new exciting adventure!
Zone 3
Wow! That’s a whole different ballgame than my zone 8
Just a suggestion….check out Elliot Coleman’s books Winter Harvest and Four season Harvest. These may be helpful to you.
Pls do another video about the spirituality and lay out designed.

I'm so glad!
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful! Did you do it all from seed?
HeyOma! The majority of the garden is from seeds. We started a lot in the greenhouse and direct sowed a lot! All the roses and the majority of the perennials along the front border was container plants I purchased!
Thank you for joining us! God bless!
