Thanks for the video, i managed to fix the same problem on my car that was over a year ,driving the car using a pencil after every start ,it seems as if that 5amp fuse happen to fall some how
Your explanation is outstanding. Thank you. I have 2011 A6 it has been stuck in park for almost a year now (I miss driving it.) Have not been able to find a mechanic in town to work on it. The dealership is too busy to look at it. I have been trying to figure out what the issue is with no scan tools and watching you thinking through the problem will give me a head start. Thank you.
NOTHING IS SIMPLE, WHEN IT COMES,, TO DIAGNOSING THESE MODERN CARS IF IT WAS EVERYONE WOULD BE DOING IT.... THANKS AGAIN SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!
As far as I remember, yes. I think this was an auction sabotage. Bidders do this before the car goes to auction, so no one bid on it, and they buy for cheap, then fix whatever they broke.

I'm glad you are able to fix it
Did the gearbox error disappear?

Glad to hear that and good luck with the repair. It might be something simple.

So just put a 5 amp fuse in and it will be fixed?

You need another bigger 5A above the 40A
Ok

Great vid ty
No problem
So much work than just to properly check the fuses....
How about you check all and all are good. How you gonna know there are fuses missing?
