Simon, I have been working with wood my entire life.....after watching what you just did I am throwing away my tools! maybe Walmart will hire me😄. Beautiful job dude! you definitely love what you do and it shows! Much respect !
Thank you for the words of support.I find no matter how long you work with wood you learn something new every time you work with it.I do love wood if a tree comes down it should be used and respected.Never get rid of tools use them.
Once again thank you.Glad you enjoyed it.Working with wood is my work ,hobby and spare time .No matter what I know someone knows a better way to do it and thats why I love you tube.
Simon, I don't know what I can say that everyone else hasn't said already. You are a artist. You have a love for what you do. I am 53 years old and you inspire me to want to do more and better work. Your re blessed. Thanks.
Thank you for your kind words.I wish I could do more projects like this but woodworking is my business and right now it is crazy busy so I had to put youtube on the back burner for now.So as soon as it calms down I hope to make more videos.Once again thanks for your support.
Simon Capener You are very welcome. Just do what you can do. UA-cam will always be here. Family and work are very important. At 52 I started all over. Divorced and left Flint Mich, to Lansing and remarried. It's tight, but life is good now. BE BLESSED.
Great job, keep on making some dust that's when i am most happy and now i bought a sawmill oh the excitement cutting into a log, then drying the wood and making a pc
I liked everything about the design and finished product. I especially like the use of wood to fill the voids rather than epoxy. You made me very nervous though when you were using the wire wheel with no eye protection. Eye protection is cheep, but you only get two eyes. Imagine not being able to do what you love because you didn't spend 10 bucks on safety glasses. Great work, loved the project.
I hear you I have them and sometimes use them but me being me is I do a little just to see the effect and then it is done because i get into it. But i do agree with you.
im disgusted that 164 people gave him a thumbs down, just shows you what jealousy does to some and those that have to be negative just to be negative, would love to see those 164 do it
kspec2001 My favorite is used for finishing Bar tops witch is the same.Guys KEEP making these VIDEOS Please. Thanks I cut Trees and Like too do this In the coldest mounths.
Nice ... but .... all that wood working equipment and such and you don't have a inlay bearing set for your trim routers? Oh and standing off to the side of a table saw like that is a sure way to loose a finger.
I do things the way I know how to do things and most of my woodworking I taught myself so I'm sure there is much better ways to do things. The reason I stood to the side is the blade was at 45 and I was taking off a tiny strip there was no resistance but the strips go flying so I stood out the way.I was also pulling the piece against the fence.I'm not saying that's the right way to do it that's the way I did it.
Beautifully done Simon. Thank you for showing us how to. Have a wonderful day.
Man! A real work of art! Gorgeous wood...
