ill be doing a upgrade for sure once i get my new bike & will make a video on that as well hopefully by then you will have a updated light in the 2in size
no they are solid, the only thing i see with the ones located by the front wheel is the shadow of the spokes when riding, going to have to make a custom light hood to block that.
they will drain your battery if you leave them on with the motorcycle not running. with the engine off it will last 20min before the battery gets extremely low, not recommended to leave them on when you park the bike
@@LIGHTWARRIOR-888 if you only have angel eyes on your R3 and your battery is in great condition you should be able to have your lights on for 6+hrs with no problems. I did have double halos, demon eyes, and drl's on my bike here is a link to that video review ua-cam.com/video/iNI9TySqs-A/v-deo.html go to min marker 27:00 mins. the longest I had them on was 4hrs at a bike night in the summer & bike started up with no problem.
AC Productions thank you! I want to add some safety to my R3 with some front lights. Mostly to create that tripod light for oncoming traffic rather than bright driving lights. Do you have anything you would recommend? I have the TST flush mounts and I’m not sure if oncoming traffic can see my turn signals that well now. This amazing video will help with my install so thank you for that too!
@@unkkit151 Kit Wong I have the tst flush mounts as well, I doubt that any cars can see those little dots for turn signals. only recommendations I can give if you want to make sure that the on coming traffic can see your turn signals is to install DRL's in the headlights with sequential turn signals. I have a video on how to install them, here is a link ua-cam.com/video/cSCcYbEXAIc/v-deo.html you don't have to install the other parts just go to min marker 10:11 in the video I show how to install them inside the headlights then towards the end of the video I show how to wire them up. that would be your best bet.
Awesome installation, looks great!
Thank you definitely lights up the road very well between the 1'' & 2'' lights I have

Thorough "how to" - well done
If i did the same setup u did as the r1 drl and d1 auxiliaries would that be bright enough for dark roads? Would they light up far enough?
yes you can adjust the beam angle to your desire location
Do you have any problems with the lights moving from vibration?

Will these lights have effect on the battery life or something else?
