I think fiberglass overseas might be cheaper and thats why they make it that way

the whole bike is a mystery on how things work it just amazes me when really looking at the components.

@@ACProductions77 I use the yoshimura em-pro ecu- on my 2018... it uses an entirely different wiring harness! The em-pro is a yoshi Japan product and the directions for install is very loosely translated to say the least. I have spent some time now getting to know the electrical system, to say the least! Lol

ya the knock offs where not exact to the make and model of the bike even though thats what it was in the description when i bought them. yes I removed them after makeing this video & its back to stock with the mirrors & much better as far as safety it may not look the koolest but thats ok in my book.

@@ACProductions77 I got a set on ebay for my 2015 R3. The seller said they would fit, they didn't, not even close. Now he wants me to pay to ship them back. ebay took his side, but said to call them in a few days and they might give me some credit towards the shipping. These would be ok on a duc or something with a small base, but they absolutely do not belong on a Yamaha.

im the same way, when I bought my bike the salesman says "see you on your 1st service don't forget to make an appointment" & in my head I say NOPE you wont ever see my bike in your shop, I do all my own work on my bike as i dont trust shops either plus dont like that they keep riders bikes Hostage for most the riding season as well so stupid simple stuff. Naa im good. thats why i make these videos to help others from getting ripped off and bikes being held hostage at shops.

@@ACProductions77 Right on, the only thing I could use some help on is for valve adjustments. I used to have someone that would let me watch while he did it and he explained everything along the way. I'm looking for that again, other than that I do everything else, I have my own tire machine too..

yes I have both & have a switch to turn all on or all off

@@ACProductions77 I live in the darkness where bane was born in PA I need these with the switch option. I found your page may be a year or 2 ago and I said when I get my new baby I would message you. It took me 5 months to find you hahaha I said wait a min this is the guy with the lights on the forks. Hahah

anyone can ride this bike, the maximum weight says that it can handle is 240lbs but i have a video coming soon to test that theory.

unfortunately as of now I havent seen any update that uses anything for motorcycles to be able to use brake lights and turn signals, it does have a animation of turn signals but its not connected with the bike so if you seen a video that it connects to a bike it may be false advertising to sell the product. if the company ever does come with that update ill make it video for it

any auto parts store will accept used oil

@@ACProductions77 sweet! My schedule delivery is Wednesday due to the holiday weekend. I’m just trying to figure out a way to get like a charger phone stand but still looking at different 12v batteries

@@DrinkableTrees I suggest getting a lithium battery as it holds more power and last a good long time, only down side is you have to be on top of it and not let it get to low on power, depending how much you use it i say charge as needed. But if your not good with that my order recommendation is lead acid

@@MobBarley-z3k the key switch/ign power comes from the red wires on the relay. The fuse at the relay rarely goes bad unless the key or kill switch is shorted. All the other circuits are protected from the fuse block

it doesn't have those functions available.

the size I used is a 6mm allen key

I was able to get a new one from venom motorsports but even the new one is still off by a few miles. I have a new video coming out soon where i install a whole new different cluster

@@nathanschnabl9415 yes the R3 itself is pretty much still the same in that area only difference is the body and headlights are different, so this video should still work out for you

yes they have clear, lightly dark , medium and very dark you choose the one you want.
