- Its a little over one year ago now, that our dear friends and my mentor, Grandmaster Chuck Norris and his lovely wife Gena O'Kelley Norris visited my studio in Norway. Grandmaster Norris shook hands with all of my students and we were able to show them some of the sights of Norway, like our famous Viking Museum and our national Ski Jumping arena in Oslo.
Glad to see Mr. Norris is still alive.
Chuck Norris died ten years ago, but the Grim Reaper can’t get up the courage to tell him.

I always wish I could be like mr Norris. Not mostly because he's the toughest guy around. But more because of his fight for supporting the weak, those not able to defend themselves. A truly remarkable man. I remember one of his Texas ranger movies. There was this homeless man called Arty. Arty said to Walker: 'It has not always been like this. I used to be somebody'. Walker replied: 'You still are, Arty'. I remember those words like they were written in stone. Those words made me always look upon the not so fortunate people with respect, and with a desire to help them as much as I could. Because they are human beings just like everybody else. Thank you for inspiring so many, mr Norris!

Chuck ran from the US to Norway then he put his shoes on. He kind of just skipped over the ocean waves. Not to mention he built the martial arts building with his bare hands not using any tools at all. Also it's him narrating this video in perfect Norwegian.

Met him once on a plane In Maimi. BS’d about karate for about 0:30 min. Was back in my karate days, and he was hell of a nice guy.

Yep, seen it! I have not yet met anyone who have something negative to say about GM Norris and I can verify that he is the most wonderful person I have ever met in every way :)
Well he didn't quite change the subject at first, but he didn't trash on Chuck either. He gave the impression that Chuck was definitely one of the best, but that his age might be a factor now, as Chuck was well into his 70's.

At the rate he's going, he could live to be 120.
the problem with getting old isnt how you look. its how naturally your body falls apart inside. your immune system has limited use and certain age too. it just cant keep going more than its predicted value. so you might look like a model at certain old age but have like 10 cancers competing for which to take over first.

His best move to me was to slow down when he started his own movie business. Otherwise I doubt he would be still here today. Bruce could not slow down and didn't make it.
GM Norris has always taken care of his physical form, thru daily training. He stopped his competition career but increased his focus on his organizations. Kick Start and United Fighting Arts Federation, while expanding in the movie business as well as many other areas 😊 Even today he is still very much focussed on helping kids thru Kick Start, the evolvement of UFAF and their natural water brand C-Force 😊

Yes. I was just stating that he slowed down his performances a lot starting the Texas Ranger series plus as you said joining other ventures. He was the one actually telling Bruce Lee to take some breaks in order to not burn out. Chuck was smart in knowing how to preserve his health.
