I've had so many comments about question 25! I have to say that I've always thought the answer was Delilah until I read the passage carefully. Here's Judges 16:19 "After putting him to sleep on her lap, SHE CALLED FOR SOMEONE TO SHAVE OFF THE SEVEN BRAIDS OF HIS HAIR, and so began to subdue him. And his strength left him." (emphasis mine). You could argue that Delilah was responsible, but it seem she did not cut Samson's hair, she called for someone else to do it. (Many translation specify an unnamed man).
Yes, so many of us read and understand. We should have a clear understanding and not interpret what we think, so it does matter who did what so we don’t take the Bible out of context.
@@BenBowers-f8j That is in reference to eating food offered to idols, which some of the Corinthians were doing. It is not about the knowledge of God's word for we are encouraged by Paul to study to have some knowledge of God to learn discernment to test all spirits, or doctrine more specifically
Remember these words of wisdom: “Let not your left hand know what your right hand is doing.” and “Pride goeth before a fall.” Jesus. Also “Watch yourself at all times.” my Uncle Ward. NO bragging.
I got 25 right! I am happy that I am getting more knowledge from the Bible through these quizzes. Thank you so very much and please keep sending them. I enjoy them so much. I love you lord god with all my heart❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Got all 30 right. Did childrens ministry for 40 years which is a big help to building up bible knowledge. But knowing Jesus is more important than knowing bible facts.
Knowing Jesus is knowing the Word, because He was and is the Living Word. The study of His Word, the Bible, is of the utmost importance if we truly want to know Him.
I learned somethings here today i did not know ! I AM not a scholar of the word But i Believe in JESUS CHRIST YESHUA The HOLY SPIRIT helps us remember all things ❤ does not matter how many times we read the Bible you will learn something new every time GOD will Enlightening us!
Every question took me to the Bible and helped me remember all the stories. I got wrong answer with Samsons hair cut and the last answer which I will now remember forever. Thank you
I'm blessed to have seen your channel and subscribed to it now. Just beginning to understand and read the Bible. Didn't do to bad nor good in your questions. Became a Christin in 2022 and got Baptized on November 20, 2022. The excuse I can give for the wrong answer is I'm 71 years old, but the reason is I need to read more of the Bible.
I have to pause and go to the Bible 😂,and discovered it was a unknown man ,love this Bible quiz I know it will help me to grow spiritually came across it today and I am glad I did ,thank u
I got three questions wrong. The first one was about how many stones David used. The second was regarding who cut off Samson's hair, I thought it was Delilah. The third was regarding what was the sixth commandment. I really enjoyed testing my bible knowledge. To God be the glory!
According to the Christian Bible, it was Delilah who cut off Samson's hair. The story is found in the Book of Judges, specifically in Judges 16:4-21. Samson was a Nazirite, a person dedicated to God and forbidden to cut his hair as a sign of his consecration. Delilah, a woman with whom Samson was involved, discovered that his strength came from his uncut hair. She betrayed him to the Philistines by learning the secret of his strength and then cutting off his hair while he slept. As a result, Samson lost his strength and was captured by the Philistines.
28/30…I continuously do not want to know everything about the Bible so I can stay hungry desiring to continuing to be a learner and follower of his word each day. There is so much in the Bible I do not understand and I want to know more so I pass it on to Gods people.
29/30 the last one I had to dig deep but didn't quite get there. The first two quizzes were easy, but the last 4 questions made me think outside the box. You hear so many Bible stories told differently. Some things stick other you gotta stop and ponder a bit.
Yeah. Some of these are great. As long as I learn something, amen. Some are too picayune, like, what were the first words said, it's like UGH! I.E. a recent sermon making the point about prayers unanswered. Persistence! Don't give up. 1) Jesus tells of the widow who pesters the judge. He says no. But she keeps at him until he is exasperated and answers her prayer. 2) Luke 11:5-9 Jesus tells of a friend who bothers another at Midnight for loaves of bread for his visitors. After pestering him his friend gives in. I remember these 2 stories but do I remember the first words Jesus said? No. Some have total recall. Not this guy. But I am always happy to learn something about Jesus, the Word , His Father and their Holy Spirit. Happy quizzing queenofprops. God bless ya.@@queenofprops
This was a lot of fun! I was so excited to answer it right I stumbled over myself a couple of times. I was amazed to get two wrong in the very beginning, and about one wrong in the end! In the middle about four, for stumbling over myself and second-guessing myself, I should’ve went with my first answer! I’m definitely gonna subscribe and send it out to different family members.❤✝️

Question 25: According to the Christian Bible, it was Delilah who cut off Samson's hair. The story is found in the Book of Judges, specifically in Judges 16:4-21. Samson was a Nazirite, a person dedicated to God and forbidden to cut his hair as a sign of his consecration. Which version is this? Judges 16:19 (ESV) reads " She made him sleep on her knees. And she called a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began to torment him, and his strength left him. " While I think Delilah was responsible, it seems like an unnamed man cut off the hair.
So does the KJV. It says she had a man to do it that was waiting in the chamber. Judges 16:19 “And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.” KJV
He'd broken the other parts of his vow already. He lost his strength when he "told her all his heart" and gave up his strength. The only way Satan can take your strength with God is if you willingly give it to him
King James Versions reads she made him sleep on her lap an called for a Man. And she caused him to shave off his seven locks off his heads. Got this one wrong too an I had to go back an double check.
It is good to know the bible but it is also good to know and believe in JESUS because it is possible to know the bible and not believe in JESUS so know the bible but also have a strong relationship with JESUS
A really good score Michael. I think Delilah was responsible for cutting off the hair, but didn't actually do it. Judges 16:19 reads "She made him sleep on her knees. And she called a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began to torment him, and his strength left him." ESV. Some versions are not quite as clear as this. It's something I noticed when reading famous stories for the quiz :)
I missed one. I knew Delilah didn't personally cut Samson's hair. I thought it was a single unnamed man, but I was sure the Philistine rulers had Delilah on their payroll, so that's what I went with.
I thought Delilah cut his hair for sure. That was one I knew I knew but didn't. How many stones did David have? He killed him with the first! So, I got that one wrong.
I got 27/30 i thought Delila cut Samson's hair. I have learned that it wasn't Delila. I have to clap for myself for I like hearing the word of God thru going to church and reading the Bible. Continue sharing and thank you. May God grant you more wisdom 🙏🙏🙏

Yes, so many of us read and understand. We should have a clear understanding and not interpret what we think, so it does matter who did what so we don’t take the Bible out of context.
Thanks for pointing that out. I thought the same.

Knowledge of the word is good. But most importantly is repenting and trusting Jesus as Savior, and a relationship with Him.
I'd agree with that.
