  • This episode shows how to make Italian flank steak rolls that my pop made for our family throughout our lives. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY and prior to starting his family with my mother out west, he would frequently take her to a legendary Italian restaurant in NYC called Cafiero’s. Unfortunately, the restaurant hasn’t existed for over 50 years, and I can only hope that this isn’t the sole recipe that survived beyond it. Despite its simplicity, try it and you’ll understand.
If you do, please let me know what you think in the comments below. And thanks very much for watching!
    Ingredients:
Beef flank steak (fileted), minced/crushed garlic, minced parsley, grated parmesan cheese, butter, olive oil.
Most agree that flank steak is best when cooked rare to medium rare.

An entree is an appetiser! Entre? Entrance to the meal? Entre, plat, desert. Thats a french menu chum!

Ha! Thanks for the laugh. I actually looked it up because I knew there was something about it depending on the country and couldn't remember. Since I'm based in America where entree apparently refers to 'the main course', that's what I went with.

@@LedOutside But why perpetrate an error? An Entree is a starter, thats its original meaning, why butcher it just because and entire nation does!
