It's unlike any show I've ever seen.
I saw it a few days ago. Because i saw that Annie was on it so i thought I'd check it out and yeah it was definitely something new. Because usually a lot of those sitcom shows are just happy all the time but this one had some edge to it. I like a bit of edge 😌

That’s a great question. What is it that we love? Is it the story of the unemployed actress getting her huge break as she decides to leave the industry?? How’s that for karma? - hers and ours. We love that journey for her and for us tho. Or is it that we love Alexis having watched her grow leaps and bounds on SC? Perhaps it’s the unassuming way in which shes become huge and was truly taken off guard by it. Totally not expecting to get all of the adoration. Plus we know she’s one of us. Unlike so many others who pretend they’re not. Can’t analyze it. From our view she’s a good energy magnet and we can’t resist. A siren without the bad ending. We want good things for this lady like she’s a sister or a close friend. Im fixated when she’s on screen.
It’s funny because one of my friends cried when she met Jimmy too 🤣 I guess his presence is pretty powerful!

She was excellent in Schitt's Creek, really love her! This new "Kevin Can F**k Himself" is unusual and has a lot of depth, and the writers have something very special if it goes where I think it will. I've seen two episodes and I already deeply dislike Kevin and want Annie to just leave him and the situation she's in. Very dark humor, which I love.

Annie Murphy is such a good actress and is very funny. Jimmy looks like a good hugger.
Now I see why people have a problem with Jimmy as host… he’s so nice. He could’ve made fun of her (in a nice way) about that story. But instead of making a joke that helped her relax or made the audience laugh, he was nice in a boring (albeit sweet) way.

Annie Murphy has become one of my favorite actresses. Not only is she super likeable as Alexis, she's also extremely charming in real life, and when you see how different she actually is from her character is just a testament of how good of an actress she really is. She nailed those manerisms and the physicality. When they were all nominated for Emmys, I predicted she was the only one who was not going to get one, just because Eugene and Catherine were such prominent figures and Dan had the advantage of being Eugene's son and also writing the show. Not that I didn't want her to win, I just hadn't seen the show and thought someone else would... but now I have seen it, she's the one I would have rooted for the most.
I cannot wait for her new show!! It will be incredible!

I think that was Alexis’ first healthy relationship. A lot of people think their first healthy one is “the one”, but if you are going different places or just not that compatible, you can definitely find another healthy relationship. It just sucks for women because they put an expiration label on is even at our prime. Otherwise, it would be easy. Although, younger guys tend to respect women more and don’t mind the age difference, whereas so many men in 30s and 40s just want to date 20 years old who don’t know what they’re doing because they’ve been brainwashed to think women shrivel up and rot after 35. They are missing out and can f$&k themselves 😉
